On the 24th November, Influential House Recordings will be joining forces with Southends newest and most talked about club night, Push:fwd @ The Royal Hotel.

Providing the beats with the Influential resident dj's; Scott Harrington, Travis and Ryan Briggs is the legendary and ORIGINAL Techno master, COLIN DALE.

Setting things off will be Ryan Briggs with an exclusive 2 hr warm up set followed by a special "INFLUENTIAL" 2 hour, back to back set from none other than Travis and Scott Harrington....it's been a while ;-)

Colin Dale shall then step forward and close the night with a 2 hour set (never before in Southend) of the finest house and techno music....expect a masterclass performance...

This is expected to be a roadblock and we advise you to get there early and get those concessions in (pushsounds@hotmail.co.uk).

Also, dont forget to click I'll be there so that we know who's coming. This is the start of something new and we hope that you can ALL be there to experience it from the beginning....

I am so pleased to be having Colin Dale down to play. He along with Colin Favor were inspirations to me in the early 90's when House went fluffy and rave went chipmunk. They opened up the door and showed us there was another room.

Dale has been a pioneer of Techno since it's early days. He is a true master of his craft, this is a treat for anybody who loves Techno and I know a lot of the old heads will be there as well as the fresh faces who are discovering the many facets to the genre for the very first time.

I think I recorded almost every one of the tuesday and thursday night shows back then.... managed to track down most of my wanted tunes over the years but still have just a handful left that need ID's..... You maybe able to help C00ps?

I even emailed Colin these a few years ago and he said he just can't possibly remember.. :/

I think May 1991 Unknown 04 might have been from the demo dat part of the show.

Haha that is some real early stuff you have there.
I can't say I know them although 03 and 04 sound very familiar.
There is a man I know who is a bit of an anorak about these things, if I get the chance I'll ask him.

Have you still got any of the early shows and is there any chance you could upload them?
I would love to hear them again, sadly I threw out most of my tapes years ago after mice got into our basement and pissed all over them.
