it is a virtual ribbon, for all those who have cancer, are in remission, or who have died from it. & for all their family & friends. My friend sent it as we have recently lost a very close friend to cancer & she thought i would like to put it on my profile. The next message i looked at in my inbox was from LadyDuracell, inviting me to join this group. It just seemed like fate that i had to join & share this with you all. The pain this and many other terminal illness cause is hard to put into words.Having lost my father ten years ago Christmas and the very same friend as kinky minx just weeks ago the feeling of loss can sometimes take over our lives.My thoughts go to Gail who lost Neil on thier wedding day she is a very brave girl who was there for him throughout.
Im sure everyone I know is in some way affected by terminal illness and in greif we are united.But remember there is hope in other places .My sister has been giving the all clear from both womb and breast cancer .As has her future husband just before she met him been cured from this horrible killer.While there is hope we have to be there for those who suffer regardless of our own pain and discomfort.
Having seen this close up and personal you remember what a gift life is and not to be wasted on the trival things that take up so much of peoples time.A lot of those petty things just dont seem to matter.It reminds me to live my life and be the best I can not to piss on someone elses fire and accept others with the respect they deserve.After all were all on this ball of dirt together .
