Kelly Barnes performing Ian Carey Project ‘Get Shaky’ Live PA

Ian Carey Project – Get Shaky has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide. The track attained this coveted status thanks mainly to its massive success in the southern hemisphere, particularly in Australia where it has spent the last three months in the top 40, one month in the top 10 and is currently sitting pretty in the number 2 position, outselling artists such as Britney Spears, Beyonce, the Kings of Leon and Kelly Clarkson. Sales in New Zealand are also going strong with the record being listed in the top 40 for the past two months, with this week seeing the track climb into the top 10 in the number 8 position. And that’s not all! The official video to the Ian Carey Project – Get Shaky has climbed into the Australian Top 10 on iTunes. Get Shaky gets it full UK release on 24th August and is expected to stay in the UK top 10 for many weeks yet!

Kid Massive

Kid Massive is one of the most prolific producers on the house scene in London at the moment. With forthcoming remixes for Michael Gray (Full Intention), Milk & Sugar, Asle and Olav Basoski, we can't recommend him highly enough - which is why he's fast becoming one of our high-profile residents.

Joey Negro

Joey Negro is the most well-known pseudonym of master British DJ/producer/remixer Dave Lee. Under a plethora of other monikers including Jakatta, Sessomato, the Hed Boys, Doug Willis, Raven Maize, The Sunburst Band and Z Factor, Dave was one of the first artists to incorporate disco samples in house music when he began his production career in 1991. Indeed, he was in the studio making credible and outstanding British House music when many luminaries around him were still busy getting to grips with their decks. In 2009 little has changed and Dave is widely regarded as one of the most commercially successful and in-demand artists on the global scene. Kinky Malinki pleased to have Joey Negro headlining room 2 at matter. Expect a mind-blowing set from Dave which will showcase the many edits and updates of old tracks he’s become famous for.

CJ Mackintosh

Supporting Joey Negro in room 2 will be our own Godfather of House, CJ Mackintosh. The man is still a firm favourite with clubbers across the globe more than 20 years after winning the DMC Championship title and hitting the top of the UK charts with ‘Pump Up The Volume’ in 1987. Then Ministry of Sound had him as their resident, being one of a select few who could master epic 10-hour sets thus confirming his ‘godfather’ status.
