Nice show...but I really do prefer having a few bevies etc with me mates in the countryside!...and then I get to play the tunes. So easy these days with the internet/computers. Not being mealy mouthed, as I said..a good show...but well, weirdo fucking bouncers, weirdo fucking babylon vibe. Bullshit basically. You're full of shite Brixton Acedamy, and if it was up to me every single fucking bouncer would be fired and some sound hippy type people would be hired instead. Basically you havn't got a...

Come on, the BIG FUCKING EGO MONSTER DJ thing is nonsense - may as well live stream the internet or something...and put MUCH more effort into the 'happening'..but of course thats the rub - this sort of event is very commercial, rather than a happening party thing. You're full of shit Brixton Acedamy, I'm minded to come round and pixy you because you're Bullshit brixton acedamy. You are boring wank. Piss off. Come on. Smoke machine. Stobe. Us. the people. Not a bunch of silly pricks on the stage...

..and all those folks queuing at the stage door - I han't realised that the recession was so bad - looking like Thatchers britain once again!

Never again though - getting way way too old for this nonsense I think

come on. get serious, this is B/S compared to the outdoor convoy raves...(that don't happen as such anymore, but will gain, trust me).

..in fact this website is B/S also! Ego wank, especially the chat. DJ ego wank. Fuck off.

aaaaaaaaaand relax.

The good points

Production: lights lazers sound n stage show was tops by UK standards...obviously been watching DVDs of Dutch events ;)

The bad points

que for dsi tickets=piss take. Lack of atmospher around the venue...thinks bk to previous HHA's when the whole place would be buzzing def not so Saturday nyt. The main room was over half empty by 3:30 :(. Now the one thing I love about brickie n I know alot of other ppl do to is the balcony....partying up there watching the light show is like beeing in a diff event altogether...FFS it wasn't even open. The only reason I can see for this is that the event didn't sell that well n if it had been open the main room would have been even emptier earlier.

For me I say R.I.P HHA :(

I would like to know to the above person 123testingcyborg2000 is.

Jester, i think you have a point there. To me as a raver, i would say that shows no respect from asys to the people that wanted to see him play. Thats a bit out if order.

A*S*Y*S Not playing.

I feel like a geek quoting myself.
But im guessing A*S*Y*S didnt play because of the above reason?

but thats not fair to the people that turned up to see him. Sorry but i think its bang out of order. Surely it doesnt matter where you play at events like HHA, teh fact that you have been invited to play at such a legendary event should be enough and that people may have paid to see him play.

Highlights for me:
- the filth foyer, particularly sets by Dave Curtis and Andy Rise/Matt Pick-up
- meeting lots of lovely new friends
- watching the amazingly-dressed stage performers
- playing b2b with Nathalie in the filth foyer!!! What an experience!

Lowlights:
- having to leave at 3am cos I split my corset, haha!

Hannah - That's exactly why he didn't play!

Bunnykins - It's just plain rude! There's plenty of djs out there that would do anything to be given that opportunity! OK it wasn't the best room at the venue, but you'd think flying in from Europe and not bothering to play seems like a waste of everyone's time!

See in my opinion if there is working equipment to use and people to play too then there is no reason why he should have walked out, like you said some people would have done anything to be giving the oppitunity to play on saturday night. I feel sorry for any people that actually came to see him play xx

Hard Academy sounds like like some sort of rough mans fight club though. or a porn society

The acronym possibilities are endless however it was meant to stand for Hardstyle Academy, seeming as HDA is already a Euphoria event. I genuinely feel that it would be more descriptive given the music at saturday nights event, I really hope Frantic just realise that they have a long term fondness in the hearts of most Hard House clubbers in London and pushing Hardstyle as much as they are doing currently is consequently going to damage their reputation.

Cheers pal, glad you enjoyed the set :-)

The crowd reaction when you drooped Rampage was quality.

OK , I'm going out really rare ,like once a year . I've been to every HHA since 2002 , and i have to admit it really has changed.I dont feel the vibe , i dont feel same atmosphere between ravers, this all round happyness and frendlyness.Everyone seems like angry at everyone. You can't go to to people u dont know and just stomp with them,or start chatting with people...i dont know, it is not the same.People change maybe becouse music changes. It's getting harder and agressive and people acting the same. I was really sad becouse balcony wasnt even open,i understand-last year it was hlf empty, but still,it is the whole point of Academy.
Speaking about music,i'm more of old hard house fan,and this all round hard dance was bit too much for me in the end of the night. As much as i love Proteus , his set with Alex Kidd killed everyone LOL . And it was really sad when at 5.30 main room was nearly empty , and it looked like nobody cared will there be one more tune or not..sad :((
But as i was in a good mood, and enjoyed my self I had a great time .If something will not change , HHA wount be so great as it used to be. I recon there should be more hard house, and club classics remixes , with legendary Frantic residents, cyber outfits and etc.. anywhay , that is only my point of view ;) diferrent people, differnt preferences.

THAN YOU FRANTIC for one amazing night , it was worth coming !!!

Firstly Id like to echo Chloe's comments and thank all the DJs, Performers, Production Crew and Venue Staff who all helped to make HHA happen.

A big thank you to all the clubbers and ravers who made the trip to Brixton Academy.

Im very sorry to those who waited in the ticket collection queue. The venue wanted to allow only Ticketweb collection through the main door and asked that we put all the other ticket agencies through the smaller door. By the time we realised this was problematic some people had already waited too long. Please contact me on willfrantic@yahoo.co.uk if you had problems getting in and Ill give the first 50 to contact me free entry to Frantic NYE.

I always look at comments about DJs and Music Policy very carefully. As a promotion we try very hard to cater for all the different harder styles. At any one time one style is more popular than others. At the moment this happens to be the more European style. This means that a lot of the bigger names happen to play this style and therefore were advertised, very openly, to play the Main Arena on Saturday night. However we did deliberately book a big filth line up with the Hi Oktane guys for the Foyer and organised a Vinyl only room which focussed on the more traditional Hard Trance and Hard House sound. We also booked people like Rob Tissera for the Afterparty. It is not the case that we are heavily pushing the European sound to the exclusion of the other styles and actually we book considerably less Euro acts that our contemporaries across the UK. Also both Timeless and the Birthday will always look back to the more traditional harder sounds so in no way are we leaving our roots behind. For NYE we have one Euro room with the Squelcher guys and then a Filth Room and a whole room of Hard Dance so the Euro sound is most definitely in the minority. For Timeless on Valentines Day there will be little or no Euro, so looking across the next 12 months all styles will get a fair hearing. Having said all of this we do still feel there are some exciting Euro acts and we will be booking some headliners who play this style for Tranzmission at Easter.

We will be posting the line up for Frantic NYE and AWsum's 2nd Birthday online this week and look forward to your comments.

Yeah in comparison to Bionic you guys are considerably less supportive of Hardstlye ;)

Excellent :) Will I appreciate with you guys owning Hidden that it is always going to be your cheapest option but Timeless at Coliseum is one of the best Frantic events ever!

Once again I had an excellent night, thoroughly enjoyed myself and will defiantly be there if you guys do it next year. I'm glad to hear that Frantic take into account and evaluate most comments put on forums. (obviously with the exception of the l23testingcyborg2000 retard)
