MMM vs Bruk @ Corsica, 21st Dec - ARTIST DESCRIPTIONS
Very excited!

a really packed and interesting lineup for the next Man Make Music party. Here's some more info on the artists playing on the night...

ARTISTS:

Mowgli- After being found in the jungle he went into town... now he spends most of his time producing hard-swinged beats with crispy claps and phat-wobblin' basses that DRIVE YOU CRAZY! The Italian fidget maestro has produced remixes for the likes of Soul of Man and Madox, as well as his own bump, beep and squeek sound on the the Mantra Breaks label. Definitely one to watch for '08.

Toddla T- Digi-dancehall, 4/4 skank, grime, baltimore club, garage, miami bass: Toddla T's digital bassline update of genres we thought we knew so well is causing a storm right across the country. If you haven't yet heard check his debut mixtape Toddla T's ghettoblaster- its been lauded as UK mixtape of the year by Fact magazine, dazed & confused, and a whole host of others, whilst his 'Do u know' riddim has been causing serious dancefloor damage.

Luca- Possibly the most technically accomplished DJ there has been on the UK Garage/ grime/ bassline scene, Luca (alongside partner in crime Rossi B) gained recognition from a series of mixes that displayed a level of turntablism which was thought to be reserved for the DMC championships. They took their unique style from the studio into the some of the biggest raves around, and smashed up dance after dance, becoming some of the most highly rated DJs in what was a notoriously difficult hierarchy to break into.

N-Type- N-Type brings his firestarting, double-dropping brand of dubstep back to Man Make Music. A veteran of the scene, who's played all over the world, N-Type needs little introduction. Except that this time he's playing jungle too.

Lazslo Beckett - one half of production duo Beckett & Taylor; bosses of Hand on the Plow Records, and "the new masters of skewed house". Infusing cut-up, jacking, broken house rhythms with twisted voicing and jagged melody, they bring originality, soul and sweat to the dancefloor.

Peverelist - head honcho of Bristol's Punch Drunk Records, representing both the finest that the Bristol dubstep scene has to offer and the burgeoning crossover between dubstep and techno, his DJ sets and productions bring together the dominating low-end of dubstep, the swung echoes of uk garage and the hypnotic loops, delicate beauty and submerged emotion of Berlin techno.

Ben UFO - a key player within Hessle Audio, a label and collective who have developed a clear identity representing the more experimental and cerebral corners of dubstep. As a DJ Ben has carved out a strong reputation with his seamless sets wandering across the dark garage meme, from Mala to Terror Danjah to Martyn to Groove Chronicles, as well as representing many of the most exciting new dubstep producers.
