ANUFACTURED IZTORTION REW Welcome to the Manufactured Diztortion Crew's DSI page!! We are a group of individuals, DJ's, MC's, producers and promoters that put on monthly Hard Dance nights in Devizes, Wiltshire. The reason why we do it??? To make money?? For the status? NO!!! Because we love a good party and we have some amazing resident DJ's!!! We are well into our second year now and our parties are more popular than ever!! We are amazed at the support we have had so far and we are looking forward to keeping things fresh and making MDC nights even better!!!! You may have heard about our regular night REVIVE which is a mixture of Hardcore, Hard House, Hardstyle, Techno and Hard Trance. Although nothing is set fast (apart from the BPM's) so we have been experimenting with alternative nights such as REVIVE - PSY/HARD TRANCE EDITION and this month's TECHNO VOL 1. We also have our yearly battle versus our greatest supporters (but also our fiercest enemys GRRR) UNDER THE INFLUENCE - UTI called DIZTORTED INFLUENCE (see what we did there?? Clever eh? lol). No seriously UTI have helped us out alot and without them we wouldnt be as far along as we are today!! If you have ever been to CLUB ICE in WESTBURY then you may have been to one of UTI's nights - BASSNOVA Most of the M.D.C Residents have already played at this event and M.D.C will be helping out with the next event coming soon......watch this space..... *****NEWSFLASH***** THE MDC WOULD LIKE TO PROUDLY ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE FEATURED IN THE CURRENT ISSUE OF THE RAVING EYE. Check out our review below>>>>>>> REVIVE review//Gsus Corn Exchange, Devizes Away from the bright lights and bustling cities you can still find the music you want to listen to... Head south from Swindon on the last Friday of every month and keep going til you get to Devizes. Once there ask a local for the Corn Exchange then follow your ears to the sound of bass. For a princely sum of damn near nothing (£4 when I went) you get a selection of harder edged dance music, this is the home of the Manufactured Distortion Crew (MDC) and they don’t let a little thing like living in the middle of nowhere stop them from putting on excellent parties. The MDC consists of DJs and their friends who, between them, provide everything you need for a party; booming sound, quality DJ equipment, decor, merchandise and plenty of smiley faces. There are no big headliners, just plenty of young, talented and enthusiastic locals who do it ‘cause they want to. This was my second booking at Revive and I have to say it was looking even better. The moment I walked in the door I was impressed by the decor transforming the simple club setup into a mini rave. Large stacks of speakers either side and fenced off area giving plenty of room for the artists and crew to ensure the party went off! Resident DJ G-Dub was on alongside Digital Conflict playing dirty hardstyle beats. Then turning up the bpm just a little bit was the back to back stylings of PJ and Marvelous, spinning vinyl and keeping the pace the atmosphere clicked up a gear. Revive likes to offer a selection of styles, tonight the last two hours were dedicated to Hardcore, local boys Skinndogg and then Lister. Tonight was Skinndoggs first premium time booking for Revive and he took to the task offering a mix of Hardcore from the last few years and bouncing it up with recent Lethal Theory tracks. Last time I was down here the last DJ of the night needed no introduction and tonight was the same. Lister, whos’ enthusiasm shines through when you meet him, provides the DJ kit for the night and he knows how to use it, entertaining mixing and with a massive smile on his face. He also dropped in his own track and I take my hat off to him, the track was sounding sweet. The dancefloor was as full as it could be for Lister and he took to the task and delivered back plenty of fine tunes and ability.
