Come on Frantic whats going on....
Unfortunately, a lot of people thought that HHA was a bit of a shambles....

The line up was lacking, why not Farley in the main room???? why not Rob Tissera for the main event, he would have rocked it, he wiped the floor at the after party.

The clue is in the event name Hard House acadamy....... why so much hard style, stop trying to be fashionable and stick to what people want.

Frantic is losing its loyalty, from what it used to be, good name djs playing good quality music, no gimmicks.

Come on Guys ............... before its too late ........

The thing is that Frantic have pissed off quite a lot of people, people that have helped make them who they are today.
The event was pretty damn empty compared to previous years events.
When Phill Reynolds was playing the room was half empty, which must have been so dissapointing for him as so many people left early as the night did not have a natural progression of music. Cally on at 10pm???? come on MDA and spherial on at 9pm, one of the best producers in the scene!!!!!

Look back and think about old frantic events and how they were full till the end and the HEAT nights there. Frantic need to revaluate their planning.

Of course there is a market for hardstyle, but at hard style events. Frantic is not for hardstyle in the main arena, putting big names like Farley and Adam M in the smaller areas is an insult.

They should be helping the up and coming djs like Lucy Fur and Helen G, who have taken their inspiration from Frantic DJs.

Frantic take note please.

You mean artists like myself, Shock:Force, Beanie, April, Nathalie? Or any of the DJ's at the HHA Afterparty like Steinbeck, Dean Zone?
Guys who have been playing for Frantic for the last couple of years, championing their sound whether it's Hard House, Hard Trance or HardStyle, with Frantic providing additional exposure for these DJs to get other bookings up and down the country?

In my opinion, Frantic is about leading Hard Dance music. Whether it's Hardstyle or Hard House.
And right now, the leading events are playing the European sound. TBH Frantic could have gone a lot more Hardstyle compared to other leading events accross the country that are 90% Hardstyle orientated. Yet @ HHA you had the choice of 4 arenas, playing the full spectrum of Hard music, new and old, accross all the arena.
The main room was busy, the foyer was busy, and the Euro room was busy through out the night.
Can't comment on the Vinyl only room as did not venture in there.
The production was awesome, the sound systems were clearer than I've ever heard at Brixton Academy and everyone I saw seemed to be having a great evening.

.. Job done.

My opinion, music too hard from too early on. The fun-factor seriously missing, just bang bang bang bang blaaaaaaaah. I usually like hardstyle, but this was just too much. Really boring night. And also there was nowhere to escape the bloody nuclear war, everywhere just the same boring banging beat.

Disappointed.

Hardstyle fans I know are amongst the friendliest people I know, especially in London.

leeds hardstyle fans are friendlier tho :P

Agreed.

also agreed! all people had to do was look at the line up to realise hardstyle was gonna be played :/ in all fairness it was bit weird to see that much hardstyle on the line up for hard HOUSE academy but i didnt book my ticket on the basis that i was going for that particular event, i went purely for the line up cos i love hardstyle! I can understand why people were miffed at the lack of hard house but im not sure why people were shocked that hardstyle djs played hardstyle..?

there was such a moody atmosphere in the place

i disagree with this completely, everyone i spoke to was in a lovely mood and seemed to be loving the night, in fact its probably one of the most 'friendly' nights ive been to in london for a long time

For me personally it was a breath of fresh air to hear the music I love in the main room of such a large venue in the UK.

same!! loved every minute of it! :D

when even whitby is edging towards hardstyle

something that really just does not need to be done, ever

i didnt even hear it being played tbh, i left when he started playing that godawful prodigy mix that seems to have been played at every night ive been to in the past god knows how long :/ i went upsatairs at that point and whichever dj that was playing then dropped a bootleg of 'out of space' by the prodigy as soon as i got up there, fucking typical! dont get me wrong, i like the prodigy, just didnt wanna hear them at HHA!

Well from my point of view it was an absolute pleasure to see so many harder style dj's on the bill. HHA is not normally an event i go to but the line up in euro zone was the nuts and was good to see wragg, log one,ian cross, D4Rk . mark eg etc rocking the joint as for the main stage Activator blew the place apart and everyone i seen was loving it . Agreed with D4RK that frantic have always been about the future and the harder styles is what its all about and was impressed with sound in the main room been a while since i been in a place where there bass went right through ya .

im gona be doin more outta da country more next year

Don't do it!! Especially don't go to any of the Dutch Hardstyle events, and nothing Q-Dance or ID&T related!!

Once you've been Dutch, every party pales in insignificance!!

Sadly that is True...but after Sensation Black all I wanted to do was be apart of something that big and powerful...but in the UK ;-)

HHA was my first night out just me and at no point did I find the atmospher moody.
In fact everyone was so friendly and up for it stomping along with me.

As it's been pointed out the line-up clearly stated who was going to be playing, hard house and hardstyle. Hardstyle isn't about agression it's just a different kind of beat and I was absolutely loving it.
Cally & Juice know how to rock it out and the lot down the front I was dancing with were going for it.
Andy Whitby, Cally & Juice and DJ Activator made my night. I couldn't stop dancing.

I think it's good that Frantic are embracing harder styles along with hard house, and they're going to change their line up again and again with future events whether it's mainly hard house or hard house.

I started off at Trance and worked my way to Hard House and am loving the deeper beats of Hardstyle. For me HHA rocked there's no doubt about it.
A top top night!

I thought it was an ok night, I was just very tired from the night before and quite broken.
But why are we fighting when we could be helping to move evolution along by attempting to lick our elbows..? =OD

That is a bloody good question, perhaps there are a lot of people with closed minds regarding Underground Rave / Dance Music?

wow, what a wicked debate, I am not overly keen on hardstyle as you are all aware. But One saturday some o fthe sets i couldnt stop dancing to, even though a bit more hard hosue in the main room should have been good. The main room should have been split in 3 and then the other arenas should be one of each style so for example if the last hard house set in main room was whitby everyone who cam for hard house could move to the room that would be predominatly hard hosue etc etc (i hope that mkaes sense)
