But I am taking photos of a pyrotechnic group soon for Overload and I want them to look as pweddy as this :( :( :( I hate you and your photo ways..!

I need to check what I did, but I expect for a start you need to talk with your subject about the manouvers they're going to make, and then adjust your shutter speed to reflect the duration of the movement (i.e. 1/5 of a second for example)

I used an aperature of f/16 most of the time... check your PM's this evening (if I can get to it tonight)and I will give you some more help. Remember these are just guidelines, and even slightly different circumstances could greatly affect the outcome!

Yeah I undersatnd the PM will be slightly different for the circumstance but didn't even think of changing the shutter speed for the move, jeeezeeee, I have sooo much to learn!! I was probably using ISO 500-800 or somewhere thereabouts. You can mess with the aperature to compensate.. again I'll double check when I get in :)

Fankoo mister, muchly appreciated, I just want to get some uber pretty piccytures and get better and stuffs :) I was thinking about doing a tog course but I don't want them to teach me to follow the more traditional route and probably won't be that useful for club life etc... Anyways you are Mister Amazing, fanking you muchly :)

A photography course would most probably give you a great grounding of the basic skills to take some excellent photos. Though looking at your profile page, you look like you have it pretty well down.
But what you would learn in the classroom would then be down to you to interpret those skills and making them relevant for club photography. Messing about with the shutter speeds and apature to capture flames and get a good balance of ambient and flash is something that you could figure out with ease after learning a bit more about the techy stuffs. But again, you have some excellent results already.
If you wanna take your photography further, a HE course might be good :) Speaking from a student p.o.v. :P
