I'm thinking of getting 5000 printed, this seems to be the least number you can get!! Yikes!

Do people think its worth me paying to get it put in those flyer pack things? does anyone take them? Or shall I just do the rounds in the morning?

As you know I'm new to this promo lark and am taking on advice all the time. I'm always interested to hear peoples suggestions for the night and if you think it could and should be done differently.

Personally wouldn't bother mate - think you have enough people that are going to come already and will spread the word for you. Also, the line-up will draw people who are interested too, you're also in a decent geographical position to take advantage of footfall people who may be going down 't boozer and fancy a bit of a boogie. Personally, I usually take a flyer pack fully in the knowledge that i don't really want one but not being able to stop myself, end up regretting it as I don't want to litter then it ends up unintentionally decorating the top floor of the Number 63 from Kings Cross. Waste of money Nolhy.As I do flyering myself I can see that people tend to thow them away the minute leter.Its always better to give just one.

I pick them up, 2 mins later think, why the hell did I do that, tehn realise I have to carry teh bloody thing till I find the nearest bin/recycling. Waist of money and a waist of time.

Also, you have no control of who the flyers go to. if you do want to give out flyers, order a small batch and give them out yourself.

Now there is some law about distributing flyers in other peoples clubs/events andd that if your caught you do run the risk of getting a good kicking (I have only heard stories) or getting kicked out but it never hurts to carry a few with you and when your speaking to people about yoru night you have a flyer to give them as well.

the guy's you have on board all pull their weight and put the word out on DSI and through email and with the success of teh last one, personally, I dont think you need bother.
