With only 4 weeks to go and the count down has well and truly begun. 60% of advanced tickets have now sold out, with all this raging excitement its time to turn it up and to introduce the full cast in more detail!

As with every Party Proactive event we have looked far and wide to provide you with the best! I am sure you can see from the star studded lineup that is exactly what we have done for you to make the Party Proactive 5th Birthday something truly very special indeed!

THE HEADLINERS

AXEL KARAKASIS



Axel Karakasis stepped firmly into the limelight with his inclusion at number 90 in 2006’s top 100 DJ Mag poll. A surprise to some, those uninitiated to his powerful, energy driven techno productions and a satisfying conclusion for those who’ve lapped up each track he’s released over the past few years - a substantial achievement for one hailing from Greece, a place known more for lazy sunny days than raves.

DEJAVOO LIVE – Party Proactive debut!



From 34,000 screaming fans dancing in a tropical rain storm in Brazil, a rave in a castle in Switzerland, causing a sensation at Life Festival in Ireland, The After Boom in Portugal and a firm favourite with parties in Germany, Dejavoo, the psy trance production duo are currently taking the scene by its balukers and giving things a right good shake down. Their debut album, Futureshock, released on Transient, was received with much excitement by clubbers and critics alike receiving 5 stars on Trackitdown – highlighting why their skills have been called into remix action by artists including Astrix, Eskimo, Krunch, X Noise and writing a track with Nick Sentience as well as playing alongside the massive Infected Mushroom.


D.A.V.E THE DRUMMER



Deck technician and production wizard, D.A.V.E. the Drummer needs no introduction. Over the past few years he's taken his unique DJ sound to countries all over the world: Brazil, Japan, Australia, Venezuela, America, and Canada to name but a few: every major festival and everything in-between! Dave the Drummer is a rare breed of musician who possesses the ability to cross techno with many other different forms of music ultimately driving the genre forward in the 21st century.

PAUL GLAZBY



Paul Glazby’s name is synonymous with the global hard house scene. From fast-paced astutely delivered award winning DJ performances, to hard dance chart-topping productions, Paul is to his fans what David Beckham is to football – pure quality - and for good reason too.


JONTY SKRUFFF



Recently hailed by top Vietnamese web portal ‘Quan Doi Nhan Dan’ as ‘one of the world’s leading DJs’ in its preview of his December ’08 show at Hanoi’s Friendship Cultural Palace, Jonty Skrufff has certainly come a long way since he started DJing in 2004. Picking up prestige repeat bookings everywhere from Ibiza (both Pacha and Judgement Sunday) leading to a new high profile residency at Pacha IBIZA to Serbia's Exit Festival and Czech Republic's Summer Of Love festival, he's also toured Brazil four times as well as spinning to well over 10,000 clubbers in China last Christmas when he played in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou. Elsewhere, he's played Japan (Ageha), Lithuania, Bahrain, Israel, Ukraine, Hong Kong, Thailand, France, Spain, Holland, Norway, Dubai, Czech Republic and the Balkans (Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia) and DJs regularly in London and Berlin (where he’s now based).

2 PHUNKED UP

2 Phunked Up – Baltazar and The Greg - Twisted and Blissed House Music aficionados with a passion for all things groovy and a penchant for outrageous clothing. Having played across the capitals best clubs from main stage Koko for Paul Van Dykes album tour to intimate parties with Sebastian Leger. From Turnmills, The End, Brixton Academy and Egg with D Ramirez, Deepgroove, King Roc, Mike Monday to Heat in Ibiza and ESP in their native Johannasburg. Having taken their DJing to the next level by developing their own night Comfortably Numb, debuting on their new CN Digital label with 5 Nights Around (remix courtesy of Portamento Records Head Honcho, Nino Anthony), things are beginning to look very interesting indeed.
