It’s Friday, it’s pay day weekend and the sun is out ….

I could probably of had a great night at an ABBA concert (well maybe not ;)… thank the lord I wasn’t and instead checking the latest instalment from NuSkoolBreaks Radio @ Herbal where taking the reigns were the guys from WeHateYou supported by an array of diverse underground djs.

Landed there pretty late with sister in tow at around 11:30, just catching Social’s Richie Balboa smashing out the tail end of his set, you could feel people starting to warm to the night .. Next up in the main room were the deadly duo Crackers and Jam (great name ay!?!) who showed a very impressive combination of; enthusiasm – two very keen clubbers, partying away to Richie Balboas set well before their drop off point; with exuberance – every tune seem to take the atmosphere ever closer to boiling point on the ever growing dance floor.

Less busy than Knuckle Sandwich last month the vibe was not affected with the herbal collective enjoying NSB’s show upstairs as well as down. Managed to catch part of home boys’ Zombie Disco Squad delivering twisted vocal electronic sounds to an appreciative and party hardened crowd.. Lots of smiles, lots of ‘soon to be friend’ stranger meeting going on it was infectious…

OK back to the main room for General Midi for a belter of a breaks set.. Deep, dirty, heavy bassed fueld breakbeat - boy oh boy we were really rockin’ now! the main room we’re lapping it up..
The night was cut short with a heavily planned Saturday and a persistnat sister! A gutter as I missed Bass Kleph, and from reports he was a top night cap on proceedings.
For the limited 4 hrs I was there I was all smiles and good times!
