DJ Mag reviewed by Simon Eve - Nutty T - Severe Trauma

A new label launches with a clear mission statement. The name says it all, really; Nutty Trance Records will be doing exactly as their name suggests by showcasing some seriously mental hard trance sounds, as proven here in their first release. It's hard and fast all the way the thumping kick and booming bassline overlaid by razor sharp staccato riffs, scorching 303's and scatty vocals that promise to put listeners into severe trauma. Scary stuff indeed, and the Carrera remix aims to shock even more, opting for an in yer face hard style arrangement for maximum impact.

DJ Mag reviewed by Simon Eve - Karlzee - Double Penetrator

The Nutty Trance label shocked us with some 'Severe Trauma' on their first release, and here they look to make trance fans weak at the knees with the curiously titled ' Double Penetrator'. The title sounds filthy and so does the track, with this a real wham, bam, thank you ma'am operation. A big bellowing bass throbs away mercilessly in tandem with searing synths in this stomping hard trance romp, with the only respite provided by a twinkling piano solo in the breakdown. Label boss Nutty T also gets involved in this release, introducing a savage acidline that snarls away like a rabid dog, making this a fearsome slab of hardtrance.

Connected Hard Dance reviewed by Louk - Karlzee - Double Penetrator

When I first heard Jon The Baptist play this at Slammin' Vinyl last year, this track struck a chord with me. Reminding me hugely of the productions Wavetraxx used to make for Planet Traxx, this uplifting acid monster features a really menacing build up similar to that of Lunatic Asylum's Meltdown 2000, before a piano teases in a mammoth riff of all proportions. This is a monster which I am definitely playing! Check it out. 8/10

IDJ Mag reviewed by Danny Slade - Nutty T vs Vorny - Candyman

Some hard UK fodder for those more stomping floors out there with two mixes that both give your speakers a good old work out. The ‘Nutty Mix’ is the more melodic of the two and the ‘Vornster Mix’ is no holes barred full on thumping hard-style. My personal preference is the ‘Original’

IDJ Mag reviewed by Danny Slade - Nutty T - Severe Trauma '07

Nutty Trance is the label name and releasing nutty trance is their speciality. ‘Servere Trauma '07 features 3 proper wild ones that are hard, dark, and mostly furious. All are kicking so this release is a must for hard trance lovers out there.

IDJ Mag reviewed by Danny Slade - M3ntal - Bass Kicker/We Need The Bass

At the harder end of the musical spectrum is where this release sits with two different tracks that could alter your internal organs’ position in your body, if played through the right sound-system. Both have ‘Bass’ in the title and this is a clear indication of what you are going to get: bass laden, no nonsense ultra hard, dance music. D.S.

IDJ Mag reviewed by Danny Slade - Joe E - Eternity Has Past

This release has a real Germanic feel to it but was actually produced and then remixed by two UK based producers. The ‘Original’ is a bold and brash hard-style track with the obligatory military snares and a pounding kick drum. The ‘Nutty T Remix’ is deep Teutonic hard-trance with a solid one note bass line. My choice is the latter.

DJ Mag reviewed by Simon Eve - Joe E - Eternity Has Past

The aptly titled M3ntal Records posse may spend more time gurning than studying grammar, but Joe E obviously knows his studio skills judging by this heavy hard trance stomper, marching beats and rebellious whats wrong is right vocals set the tone nicely, while label head honcho Nutty T steps up the pace with a furious aural assault that will really sort out the men from the boys on the dance floor.

DJ Mag reviewed by Simon Eve - CI-LOG - Burnin' Dial

Hard beats aplenty with CI-LOG delivering a heavyweight, industrial sounding techno assault on the A side and the M3ntal Remix delivering some intimidating hardstyle sounds.

DJ Mag reviewed by Simon Eve - Nutty T - 100% Noise

Few can argue with the title of this ferocious hard style stomper that’s got all the subtlety of a pneumatic drill at 7am in the morning, while things somehow get harder still in ‘Blurred’. One for the hard dance mentalists only!

IDJ Mag reviewed by Danny Slade - Karlzee - Double Penetrator (The Remixes)

This is one for fans of the dark side and although the mixes are all banging, they each have an individual sound. The mixes are by ‘Sully’ in a full on Teutonic hard-trance style, ‘Nick The Kid’ who goes for full on hardstyle and the ‘Nutty T Acid Remix’ which is a 303 lovers dream. My choice is ‘Sully’s but all are well worth a listen. D.S.

IDJ Mag Review by Gordon Darley - Karlzee - Double Penetrator (Remixes)

Nutty Trance (UK)
This doesn't take any prisoners. For all-out carnage head straight for the Nutty T Acid Remix. Where Hardstyle meets acid and all hell is let loose. Sully's more percussive take on it thrashes along well too. But for me it's the Nick The Kid Remix that works the real magic with epic synths and a shuffling rhythm.

IDJ Mag Review by Gordon Darley - Fausto - Lupara

Excessive (NL)
Snappy beats and throbbing basslines in this slightly industrial slab of snare-greedy European hard dance or laid back hardstyle (for want of a better term). For me, the quirky original hits the spot with a great, simple riff and plenty of drive. Nutty T does what we expect and adds his usual thump to proceedings, while adding plenty of nagging 303s. But the mix that really stood out for me was the Artento Divini remix, which takes a shuffling trancey approach.

Core Mag Review by Rascal - Nutty T - Project Annexe (Advokate Anthem)

Nutty Trance (UK)
A - Original B - Hard Mix
Make no mistake this is the best release we have seen from this producer to date. Project Annexe weighs in with the best of em showing our european friends that UK hardstyle is on the rise. This track has been created as the 'advokate anthem' to celebrate the opening of the Advokate clubnight in the north east. The sound captures their theme well with its twisted noisy sweeps and choir chants reaping evil from start to finish. Nutty T dishes us another storming hardstyle release, this really does tick all the boxes for me and couldnt come more highly recommended. (5/5)

Core Mag Review by Rascal - Nutty T - Myths & Legends

Xtraxx Records (UK)
Xtraxx records is the brand new digital label from the Nutty camp with ‘Myths and Legends’ being its first release. The label promises big things in 2009 including brand new tracks and exclusive reworks from its producers. The likes of Warmduscher, Fausto, Apex Mind, Vorny and Thera are all in line for release. XTX 001 boasts remixes from newcomers ‘Ramp’ & ‘Morten Berg’ who have demonstrated their value to this label by producing two very special individual efforts. However, it’s the original mix that grabs my attention. Produced in very much the same style as his ‘Project Annexe’ imprint Nutty T has pulled off another respected work of art. Chilling minor chords, choir vocals and fearsome piano lines complete the recipe of another tempting release.

Harderfaster Review by Dean Zone - Nutty T vs. Warmduscher - 10 Kleine Bassdrums 2009

Xtraxx Records (UK)
The Fausto remix starts with knocky kick and reverb before unleashing the full kick upon you via some distorted kicks. The melody starts quite early here with some lush pads accompanied by an evil 303 which takes centre stage. Loud synth stabs and other sounds carry it through to the breakdown, which if I am honest is a bit of a let down as it doesn’t introduce any elements that haven’t already been heard, and the acid doesn’t get enough airtime for me either.

DJ Thera has been boshing out the tunes of late and this one’s a good’un too! No nonsense stuff here with massive drums, both of the distorted and bass variety. Typical Hardstyle screeches fly over the track, ably assisted with some funky use of high pass filters and other assorted trickery. It drives on fantastically into the breakdown, where pads take the track in a completely different direction for a short time before the Acid finally rears its filthy head. A much better effort.

The final mix on offer here comes from the UK’s very own Nutty T. This one starts with an energetic kick and percussion combo that’s more in the vein of Hard House, but with some distorted kicks thrown in. The bass line is old skool Wavetraxx; squelchy but quite hard at the same time. Almost identical sounding pads dominate the breakdown at first, before the acid again takes over. This time it sounds like the acid from Operation Blade, so basically it’s totally rocking and I can guarantee will go down a treat. My favourite of the bunch.
