The partnership of The Yofridiz a.k.a Dj Y.O.Z. and Matt Manfridi was founded in 2005. After meeting each other at an event in their native North Wales in 2001 soon became firm friends through their passion for then, a new sound of music 'Hardstyle'. After establishing themselves as separate dj’s in the North Wales founded ‘Frequency’ their now established hardstyle based event. After numerous back to back sets at Frequency soon realised their futures lie as a duo and The Yofridiz were born. Over the last few years have steadily been building themselves a strong reputation within the UK hardstyle/hard dance scene. Known for their hardstyle sound, unique mixing style and crowd hyping antics behind the decks which has seen them play at nearly all the biggest hard dance events in the UK, playing along side all the big UK artists and some of the biggest names in the hardstyle scene.

2006 saw the boys turn their efforts to production and making their own tracks as dj’ing alone was not enough for them to express themselves. This has seen the launch of their own label OPM Recordings with their debut release ‘MY WAY’ which topped the charts on online record stores such as German Trance, Bangin Tunes and Juno to name but a few. Over the past 12 months their tracks have gained airplay from some of the biggest names in the scene such as Bruno Power, Trance Generators and Brian M & McBunn.

As for 2009 the duo are currently in the studio working on an album which will be a first for uk hardstyle artists and are also busy working on remixes for other labels. As for their event promotion February 09 will see the launch of their brand new event ‘ZION’ which will be specializing in the harder styles genre and will see them flying in the biggest names from around Europe.

Rush GBH

His first and foremost love is Hardstyle and Hardcore. Loving the energy that can lift a crowd and totally immerse themselves into the tunes. That feeling is simply amazing, the rush of the crowd revelling in your music. This is why he is a DJ.

RushGBH is no normal Dj he likes to be known as an entertainer, His Mixing and crowd interaction while on stage are second to none and have gained him a worthy reputation amongst the masses of clubbers all over the uk.

He was inspired in 1984 when first listening listening to Hip Hop greats such as N.W.A. and Public Enemy. They were and are energetic performers who pushed the legal boundaries of the music industry. Completely off the wall and controversial they brought the scene to the public’s attention and are totally of the era. To him it was original and this developed his skills as a DJ.

In 1990 he first heard what was to be known as rave music which left an everlasting impression on him. He started going to rave events in the same year, and spent every weekend listening to many different sounds around the UK. When looking back to those days he would never have imagined the helter skelter ride that he has experienced so far in his musical career.

In 1994 a chance meeting put him in contact with an ex-commercial radio DJ (cheers Andy you changed my life), who gave Rush his first set of decks! These were; 1978 bsr' with no pitch control, just 33, 45 and 78. At the time having no knowledge of beat matching and neither did Andy, he endeavoured to master his art and developed skills daily.

In 1997, he started mixing on his friends Technic 1210s which were far superior and felt alien to the touch, but looking back he was glad he was made to struggle with the bsr' because if you can mix on those you can mix on anything! Even DJ Clarkee (Dreamscape) started on decks with no pitch.

Finally with his knowledge and skills he started playing out in 1997, at an event in Ipswich called ’Oblivion‘. It was strictly hardcore which featured DJ Dougal. Since that day he has never looked back and his love for the art has just grown. This is shown through the energy and absolute enjoyment he emits while performing.

In the studio environment he uses all his musical influences right from the eighties era to the present day and combines them to create a fresh and exciting sound which to himself is the only way for the music scene to progress and evolve.

Taco & Sain

Taco & Sain were introduced to me early 2009 by Rush GBH and they impressed myself with their free party twist thrown into their hardstyle not only is this Duo very technically minded but can read the crowd to a T, they seem to know exactly what the crowd want before they do which you must admit is exactly what the crowd wants.

If you havent seen Taco & Sain now is the time to come and see them do their thing otherwise you'll be waiting till septembers gig!!!
