DEEPGROOVE:-

"Book these guys and the only way you'll get rid of them is to find them another party" DJ Magazine

'No messing, they do exactly what it say's on the tin...they know how to drop it!' Pete Tong (BBC Radio 1)

"With a 100% party attitude and a keen ear for exactly the right tune to devastate the dancefloor, Deepgroove consistently smash it. And when not controlling the decks themselves, their stream of tough productions lends an injection of Deepgroove party skulduggery to the sets of a strikingly wide range of others too. Who can argue with any DJs who routinely turn up with a box of fancy dress, anyway?" Tom Kihl (DJ Magazine, Deputy Editor)

"Proving that it's still possible for real talent to break through, the Deepgroove boys have made the noughties their own." Russell Deeks (iDJ, Editor)

2007 was a great year for Deepgroove's Lee Pattison and Grayson Shipley fighting off stiff competition from the likes of Serge Santiago, Demi, Sinden, The Streetlife Djs and Jamie Jones to win DJ Magazine's coveted new Best British Breakthrough DJ award. Consistent touring across the world throughout the year whilst having a strong presence in all the major UK clubs saw them smashing over 90 gigs to a growing fanbase.

2008 looks even more promising with signings to some of house music's most influential labels and the further honing of their techno flecked, electronic signature sound. Spring 2008 sees releases for Jesse Rose's Madetoplay & Radioslave's Rekids imprint; both pivotal labels in the evolution of the next wave of Europe's vibrant music scene. Additionally Alter Ego's Klang Elektronik have taken the boys under their wing with a EP release, backed by a huge Alter Ego Remix and even further, the opportunity to remix Alter Ego's next single; the quite insane "Queen Anne's Revenge". Deepgroove will continue to be regular contributors to Darren Emerson's Underwater label and parties throughout 2008.

Deepgroove have notched up over 60 releases & remixes over the last five years for the likes of Klang Elektronik, Rekids, Madetoplay, Underwater Records, Junior Boy's Own, Harlem, Kinky Vinyl, Slave, Red Ant, Play, EG, Intra, Cuba, Distraekt, Tight, Oven Ready, Gusto, Kingsize, UMM, Bencmarc, Onephatdeeva, Whoop!, Red Recordings, Wallop, Subversive, Litmus, Hope, and Southern Fried…

The global house community has clasped them firmly to their bosom with love flowing from all the major players in the scene including Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Dubfire, Steve Lawler, Jon Carter, Fatboy Slim, to Annie Nightingale, Seb Fontaine, James Zabiela to Nic Fancuilli.

Notable achievements include an Essential New Tune award on Pete Tong's show in March 2006 for 'Jus Luv Bass', No. 1 UK Dance Industry's Music Week Chart placing for 'Fascinated' & the mixing of the inaugural edition of Underwater's SOLO dance compilation in 2006.

2008 will see the pair take their 4 Decks:Efx show on a tour of global clubs and festival, and the introduction of a new pseudonym, IDIOTPROOF with studio partner, Jamie Anderson. Their debut single 'The Deacon' is released on 23rd February on Jesse Rose's MADETOPLAY, backed by an insane, nu-rave workout by Duke Dumont and further remix by Oliver $.

Deepgroove play club destroying, chemical rave music & electrifying techno exclusively on 4x Pioneer CDJ 1000s, 2x Pioneer EFX 1000 & the Pioneer DJM 800
