POP PREVIEW
“Play Our Part” is a lifestyle organisation.

This unique new charity aims to make it easy for people in the UK
to assist community projects in the developing world.

POP is a growing network of young people who want to make a difference
by using the untapped resources that they have to offer.
Everyone can play a part, and contribute to POP in one of the following ways:
- Project Support
- Child Sponsorship
- Direct Donation
- Attend our Exclusive Events
- Become a Member
- Hold a Sponsored Event
- Volunteer
- Introduce Corporate Sponsorship
- Buy great gifts through POPSHOP

Our target audience is the ‘internet generation’, and a website is currently being designed
with help from lastminute.com to be the focal point of our awareness,
and the main means of communication with our members.

By incorporating our events into the busy lifestyles of our members, we reach an undiscovered
market and facilitate support by making donating an easy and entertaining experience.

POP acknowledges the busy lifestyle of its members and therefore aims to raise funds with little effort on their part. By tailoring our fundraising to the lifestyle of our members, POP offers the opportunity to play your part while surfing the Internet, by socialising with friends or by offering your skills or spare time. POP directly funds overseas community projects designed with clear targets that provide relief from poverty for people affected by HIV/AIDS. In order to maximise the benefits of the funds raised, we work with an established network of contacts worldwide, through which we can guarantee an efficient distribution of funds.

POP aims to send 100% of funds raised to the chosen projects by eliminating the additional cost of advertising and administration. Our events will be marketed by word of mouth, sponsored where possible, and our administration covered by unpaid volunteers.

Our main source of income will come from regular social events, initially planned for every alternate month. Realising the busy lifestyles of our of target audience, POP also enables funds to be donated through our website. Gift Aided donations will be encouraged to maximise turnover.
In 2007 we are aiming to raise a total of £16,500.00, to be donated towards our first two charitable projects.

Full details will soon be available on the POP website www.playourpart.org
