I don't judge by line ups because last year I didn't think it was special but had one of the best days of my life!!!

This will be my third Defqon and I predict its gonna be a corker!!!

So if something had a shit lineup you would still go?

I don't think she's saying that & I actually agree with her, I've been to a few events thinking "the line up isn't all that, but looks worth going to" & they have been some of the best nights I've ever been to"

& I think it's safe to say that you'd have a pretty hard work not having a good time at Defqon.

i dont see things as shit i see them as not my style.

a q event is guaranteed to have at least a few djs i want to see especially something like defqon which pretty much a whos who of every single genre i like but for me the events are more about the weekend away, the different atmosphere, the harder style of music, the effort put into the show and everything else and the much more fucked up states we can get up to in a different country!!!

no1 in the q dance glasgow line up tickled my balls but what a night it turned out to be!!!

Oh yeah your right, shit was the wrong word
I agree with not being your style!

a q event is guaranteed to have at least a few djs i want to see

I feel there are loads of people who only go to events coz they are Q dance
I personally wouldnt go to an event if there was nothing there that interested me music wise
I just dont see the point, especially if its the whole way to holland

Q dance were here on Easter Monday and the lineup was sooooo disappointing
It didnt even sell out, which i was quite shocked about
But thats why i feel the lineup needs to backup the event!

I think anyone would find it difficult not to find atleast 1 DJ they like on a lineup that size
And if there was nobody they liked then they musnt be into dance music! Lol!
I had a great day at Defqon last year but i definitely feel its very over-rated and commercial!

I haven't been for 4 years, but when I went I didn't think it was commercial at all! But then again, hardstyle wasn't that commercial sounding then, well not like it is now with all these shitty cheesey remixes hahaha.

Don't look I can make this now anyway :( girl I was going with booked Ibiza so she can't afford to go! Bastard! :(

Definitely!
I absolutely loved hardstyle in 2005 and 2006, started going downhill in 2007
Cant stand it now, pile of cheesy pish!

jesus all this over analysing!!!commercial shmercial.

what happened to good old fashioned get wrecked and party lol!!! like i said the weekend is what you make it. 55 euros still is cheaper than global and creamfields here and the standard of defqon bats fuck out of our festivals then drop kicks them 33 times

i do go to q events just because they are q dance events, as a wise scottish friend of mine once said, there aint no party like a q dance party!!!

that free festival the week before defqon on almere has a tasty line up as well, should the fight prices be right im going to visit holland twice in 2 weeks, then dominator in july to really satisfy the hardcore demon in me!!!

just take drugs, on the beach, and then have a party!!!!! great success!!!

I wouldn't say it's over analyzing at all, just an opinion. I don't go to Q-Dance events for hardstyle anymore anyway as I really can't stand listening to it anymore & seems as I can't get wrecked anymore due to having bad kidneys it's more about the actual experience (line up, show, atmosphere)

I'd jump at the chance to go to this but with nobody else around here having a enough money/wanting to go I can't!! :(

Some people are actually into music and some arent
I think thats the difference!

Without a doubt!!
And when there is no music to interest you, then that effects the atmosphere
It does for me anyway!
Hate being surrounding by people who go just to get completely wiped!

Have to say though out of all the events i have been to in holland Q dance definitely dont host the best parties, b2s have wiped the floor with them all!

I personally think Q-Dance is really good most of the time but its all personal preference. Never been to a b2 event before so cant comment on that

regards to hardstyle going more commercial i agree but the same thing happens with all stlyle of music. I prefer going to dutch festivals than going to uk thats why in last year been to 10 dutch festivals and only to 4 uk events .
after being to more than 21 dutch festivals noticed that qdance events pull a lot of international audience and the music is softer compared to UDC, B2S and ID&T promoters. If u new to hardstyle etc def advice qdance events but if u like me progress into hardcore, speedcore, terrorcore, industrial than def look in to udc etc and for hardcore events def advice to go to dominator and nightmare. If u like defqone and want to go to festival that has harder music and got dutch feel to it go to decibel last year i went had best time thats why going again this year

But why let it affect you and your clubbing experience is my pont, if your there for the music what does it matter if the person stood next to you is there just to be seen, its their 55 euros wasted!!

with the uk now havin a lot more gabba and hardcore nights the music is not my main priority for Defqon like I have to admit but hey ho

the hardcore and industrial as well as the early rave tents will be smashing out some extremely decent tuneage. I for one know that the 13th June is bound to be one of my best days this year!!!

i really really really wanted to go to nightmare outdoor on the 15th may like but we are running a bus up to glasgow for masters of hardcore so not sure we can cope or afford to big weekends in a row!!!
