HOW IT ALL BEGAN As the world entered into the new millenium of 2000 a small collective of close friends began to form an idea. We wanted to try and recapture the spirit of the free party vibe that we had enjoyed ourselves at parties such as Planet Yes which were becoming fewer and far between. The outdoor scene was becoming increasingly difficult to get away with (and still is) but we couldn't let the dream go. Owen Sizer had been DJing for sometime by this time and had honed his skills as one hell of a good techno DJ, sourcing some proper funky acid techno and dark breaks. For a couple of years this was about as far as we got and then a new phase in our history began. Heidi Anderson (Known as Gipsy Mother) and myself J.B. (Known as Gipsy lieutenant Dan) rented a house in Harleston, Norfolk and this then meant we had a base for everyone to meet. I had been playing in a local band over the past couple of years which had now come to an end meaning that our collective now had some sound equipment at our disposal. It was also around this time that some other mates had finished constructing a nice big geodeisic dome tent. Everything was suddenly begining to come together! Several garden parties and some pissed off neighbours later and we had become quite efficient and putting the dome up, remembering that bag of leads etc!
