yep cyber is just a fashion thing for some but for us who ahve been doing it for years feal this new breed are going to give the friendly fun luving cybers (which all true cybers are) a bad rep just like if u see sum1 in a baseball cap and hoody u get this impression staright away.

I call on the legend that is hardcore tom a great bloke but to most a chav looking bloke how wrong could you be. He is a legend never to be forgotton :-))

Just fingers crossed they pass through without causing to much damage. Yes i have been hurt over the past few months, maybe i just to sensictive. Like i said before its not at all nights or venues, such a shame.

Lets not forget that pams family and pams house is about fun and hi-jinx aqnd long may it stay that way :-))))))))))))))

Hi brett its carly. Just wanted to say that im sorry if u feel that the pub has idiots like that in here all the time. But we dont. Sat nite we had an amazing nite here. No trouble. Unfortunately every place in the city will get some nasty people now and again. I went to ponanas no so long ago and got beat up by sum random girl. And at pams last sunday in my opinion there were alot of chavs, and not very nice people. The boy who u had problems with got a months ban, but he is involved with a lot of people who u and i get on with so we only found it fair to ban him for a month. Obviously we keep a close eye on things, and if things happen that shudnt then we will intervene again. Both these people attend or have attended media liquid and pams, not just the bridge house so please try not to brand the pub as the problem. Maybe because this is a smaller and more intimate venue problems are more obvious but i do know that the city has got really bad and i try not to go up there any more. Again if you do feel uncomfortable at any event please let us know, as we are trying to stop the nasty people from coming here. Thanxs

Fair play to you and Chris, Carly as we know you aim not to have trouble at the pub.
Just a shame one or 2 turn up and be idiots.
See you both soon for more stomping and Boshage.x

hi guys its nikki here if ur wandering why im typeing this from shauns account its coz im sick off the bull shit on here and i havent got my account anymore.i think that this thred is getting to be a bit over the top.now yes we have the chavs we have them everywere ,but .think off it like this uv just mentioned the bridgehouse in this thred if chris and carly wanted to they dont have to open there dorrs to us ravers and we would have no were to go or to have fun, every weekend, know dont u think that a yr ago wen owens and traffick closed we were all sadended by that the fact we had now were to go and be realaxed ,we have the bridgehouse know and im sure we would all like to keep that way ,i also do remeber the girl saying sorry ,on the nite in question.

and yes brett isnt a horrible person if anything i have loads off respect for him ,yes brett im talking bout u love ,we will never find a wacky nutter like hyper ,and i think the girl hasnt seen brett to often so i dont think she ust to him and his ways .

but trying to say that the bridgehouse are the course off the problem well i dont think so ,as there hasnt been any chavs in there for ages .

SORRY FOR THE RANT AND YES ITS OVER

love to u brett and lisa.xxxxx

'd say the Hardcore scene is much more about years of loyalty to the scene so I really hope it isn't infiltated by the mainstream.

Hardcore is about as mainstream as it comes, you have underground events but the big things like slammin vinyl nye are rammed full of chavs from every area of the country. I don't think genres of music have the following as such but it is more to do with the night, you can be mainstream but not attract dickheads. I quite often go to chibuku in liverpool and you get a few callies and beer boys in there but they are all fairly safe and just go for a good time.

I thought we decided to revoke the title "Hardcore" from Tom? I don't think he really deserves that particular accolade anymore do you?!

It's still full of scousers though...

Brett...without me know the full story, and just wanting to play devils advocate abit...

Imagine yourself a girl (not hard I imagine considering some of the outfits I've seen you in ;-)), you're having a good time enjoying yourself and then all of a sudden out of nowhere this strange bloke comes up messing around, getting in your face, maybe touching you, bouncing into you, whatever. How is she now feeling? Annoyed? Confused? Slightly apprenshive? Whether rightly or wrongly, you put her into a situation which she didn't feel comfortable with and shes struck out.

Do I agree with her? No, of course not, I hate, really hate violence, however my friend, with the type of personality you have you are bound to annoy people or meet people that 'just don't get it', and a minority of these people who 'just don't get it' are going to strike out. Unfortunately mate, thats the gamble you take.

On the other hand, she may have been one of those unfortunates which we have all seen or had the pleasure of being on the receiving end of, who take pleasure in causing aggro, threatening or injuring other people for little or no reason whatsoever.

All I am saying is buddy, rightly or wrongly, she had a reason for hitting out, whether she thought she was defending herself or trying to get rid of you or just because thats the type of person she is.

If you don't put yourself in that situation in the first place, 999 times out of 1000 you will not get attacked.

Anyways, I'm sure I'll see you over the weekend buddy, take care :)

wow whole lotta good points raised in there.....problem with being in cyber (or even just alternative looking day to day) is you immediately become a target for any idiot looking for someone to have a pop at.....iv had my confidence knocked by a fair few idiots giving me the "what are you supposed to be" treatment but iv had far more what would be classed as chavs saying to me fair play mate i really like your outfit wish i had the balls to dress like that.its taught me not to judge and luckily iv never been attacked when iv been out,it seems like you have just been unlucky...and whilst its not nice you definitely need to keep your head up,and maybe approach new cybers with a bit of caution until you have sussed them out, personally i never approach anyone i aint spoken to on here or know through a mutual friend...
