Main issues were the restriction by the authorities for our application to host the 4th arena with a road closure.

There were some communication breakdowns with the line up in the sunnies arena, but we aimed to keep the night flowing with the new additions to the line up.

2 Headliners were paid and did not show up, the venue was not allowed to open until 7:30pm so delayed the start of the event, something we had no control over.

I trust these were the main issues, anything else you would like clearing up, please refer onto Nathan

Thanks to the majority for attending and making the night an overall success, you made the night and we were very impressed with the crowds and how much they were up for it.

I reckon its virtually impossible to speak to the promoters during a busy/sold out event. Do you honestly believe in what you're saying? However, you could win some credit for your organisation by saying that you will take the issue of bouncers refusing help in consideration for your next event. After all, aren't they hired for the general security? And if you actually do it as well, you will win even more credit from the most people on this thread and outside of dsi, besides maybe the trouble makers.

Of course we can always say, if you dont like it, don't come! But that would mean that people who otherwise enjoyed the night and spent money at your event, shouldnt come again, because they cannot handle a bunch of wankers bullying them?

And no, I haven't been to the event, so i can't judge, but surely can express an opinion. I am also not telling you what to do, so you are free to take my advice or disregard it.

Yes you can, that's what the licensing laws are for, all venues have a rights of admission reserved clause... they can turn anyone they want away. FACT.
