Razor Recordings




Razor Recordings is one of the newest Hard House and NRG labels at present. Over the coming months we will be bringing you upfront material from some of the fastest rising stars on the production scene such as Riggsy, Rodi Style, Amp Attack, Steve-NRG, LT1, Shenton, Dixie & Dave the Elf to name but a few.

Every release will bring you two sides of the Hard House story, full on peak time Hard NRG and build up funky Groovy Hard House making sure there is something for everyone.

We will supply u with regular updates and news on forthcoming releases and Artists signed to the label.

We will also be launching two digital labels, Razor Remix digital and Test Lab Records. Razor Remix will bring you remixes of previous Razor Recordings releases creating a new twist to the original release, whilst Test Lab will let you sample the newest tracks from up and coming producers from around the world.

LT1

LT1’s first production came after crossing over from his Hard Trance roots to the Hard NRG sound he is known for today. His first production entitled ‘Take a Bite’ was an instant success and was aired by some of the best up and coming talent across the county. From there, Lee’s work has gone from strength to strength.

His reworks of classics such as Paul Glazby’s ‘Torcherd’, Karim’s ‘Locked On’ and the most recent Jonah’s ‘Shhh Be Quiet’ has gained much support and interest from the scenes leading figures. With the likes of Justin Bourne and Karim regularly hammering out these little gems you know your on to a sure fire winnner.

Its not just his reworks that are gaining interest but his solo productions aswell. Recent signings to ‘Nosebleed Records’ and ‘Hard Heart Beats’ just show the potential for one of Razor Recordings leading figures.



Steve-NRG

Steve’s material is regularly pushed by some of the biggest names in the industry and has gained support from djs across the globe.

In 2006, his first rework of Steve Blakes’ ‘Expression’ gained a personal recommendation from the original writer. From that point, his production work has gone from strength to strength with a re-work of OD404’s classic ‘Fireball’ which was aired by one of the Godfathers of Hard House, Ian M, at Sundissential New Years Day 2006. This began the start and talking point for his production work.

In October 2007, after gaining support from two of hard houses leading figures Andy Farley & Justin Bourne, Steve-NRG & Riggsy’s ‘Stack the Gali’ found its way onto the ‘Tidy Weekender 10’ album. Since then, Steve has notched up an impressive back catalogue of productions. One of these is his second rework of Steve Blake’s ‘Expression’ which has been signed to Tidy and released on the Hard Dance Designer labels album, mixed by Sam Townsend. Another of his solo production’s, entitled ‘Deeper Down’, has most recently been signed to the ‘Tidy Weekender 12’ album mixed by JP & Jukesy.

With forthcoming releases on Toolbox and Tidy, Steve is playing a major part in the music we hear in clubland today.
