Hard House Academy - THANK YOU!
Hard House Academy - Wow what a night!

Thank YOU the Frantic Faithful! Thanks to everyone that attended HHA and making it yet another amazing Frantic night and helping us celebrate our 9th year of HHA. We hope you all had a great time at The O2 Academy Brixton and for those of you who are still carrying on at the afterparty, we hope you enjoy the crack on!

Thanks to all the DJs for performing, there were some really stand out sets including Welsh wizards Cally & Juice new LIVE PA.

Thanks to all the ticket sellers, crews and all staff who worked on the night to ensure the event was a success, we always appreciate what you do for Frantic.

Big thanks to O2 Academy Brixton Management, Staff and Security for accommodating us again for yet another HHA.

Thanks to all the Production teams for a stand out stage show, the lighting and sound was truly immense!

Thanks to Twisted Entertainment for such a fantastic performance! Also thanks to Twisted Bliss and Contagious Dancers.

Thank you to the film crew for filming the event including some hilarious artist interviews, watch this space for the video coming soon!

We loved the effort made with the Circus theme, there were some seriously freaky clown costumes and all sorts of different fun Circus outfits. We can't wait to see the photos!

We would like to apologise for those of you who waited in the ticket collection queue for longer than usual. Next time we will use the front entrance for those of you collecting your tickets for the event ensuring the process is a lot quicker.

We'd love to hear what you thought of this years HHA. Who rocked it for you? What did you think of this years production and performances? Please send any feedback you have to willfrantic@yahoo.co.uk.

It's getting harder and agressive and people acting the same.

Really don't agree with this...having been hassled by everything with a vague hint of testosterone last year and made to feel quite uncomfortable, I was really pleasantly surprised at the what I thought much friendlier atmosphere this year despite showing up half naked -and by about 2/3 in the morning had got quite used to doors being opened for me, and a really pleasant chatty crowd (and no, I haven't turned into a proper fatty over the past 12 months ;) )

Was wicked. Only stayed until 11 but all the dj's in the frantic set played awesome sets :-)

Great to hear! I knew it would be a wicked after-party and was planning on being there (damn wardrobe malfunction!) By most reports then it was a fantastic night/morning! Too long now till the next one - waaah!! But I'm getting excited about the thought of Timeless ;)

Only stayed until 11

wandered where you had gone, left me on me jack jones lol. Think i went around just after elle left.

Gutted only managed to catch the later portion of nathalie and april's b2b set, more like last 15mins or so, was good what i did hear.

Cally gage/both andy whitby sets/frisky/discam v mike avery/lucy fur all rocked it for me at main event, then it was just a mixture of adam m(tho caught most of that)/ then farley v glazby and proteus v kidd.

so it was all good.

And i even managed to make the after party too(only my 2nd ever lol) helen g was on fire(best set i seen from her)/ rob tissera on top form as always/ then continuing the damn fine sets were the awesome caz wood and mr james ellis.

Did plan on seeing elle v jojo, but a time change at the event, made them come on earlier, which i didnt know about, so only managed 10mins from then when i went for a wonder.

Fair play to Will for the NYE offer! And a great statement about the music strategy of Frantic over the next 12 months!

Can't wait for the NYE line-up to be announced!!

Crackin show guys, with out sounding biased I thort the best part of the whole event was Cally and Juice Live, was nice to see that something different and its sounded top, especially the vocalist who was wiked!!!

Was wiked to see Frisky on that stage for the 1st time, and the crazy SCARY AS FUCK clowns running about the place, and putting on a show was a great touch!!

My fav sets of the night that I caught were half of Log:One with DJ Wragg, and Kutski for the music qulaity, heard lots of cheesey kinda stuff that I personaly wasnt in too else where, but there was something for every 1, and thats the key!!

Tho im from Wales, I actually HATE Hardstyle, and dont think there was too much of it as people have mentioned, (try living here hahaha) the line up on a whole was diverese as ya like, and IMO the best 1 Frantic have put on, I cant serioulsy see how people could talk it down, it was a 1st class 10/10 line up.

Tho we were on really, really early and things were just starting I enjoyed playing the set and dropping the new bootlegs for the 1st time (that every body keeps asking for, and are not going to get hahaha)

Nice 1 to the crew for soming up with us and showin spport..!!!!

Excellent :) Will I appreciate with you guys owning Hidden that it is always going to be your cheapest option but Timeless at Coliseum is one of the best Frantic events ever!

Agreed... It has that intimate feel with a large capacity to meet the needs of a big event. It would be great to see some of that good ole hard house from the 02 - 05 era which was probably when it peaked for me musically.

Yeah...I loved it when Frantic had an Event once a month? Or every Two months and HDS on the months inbetween...if that makes sense?? And you used to decor like mad and used to cover loads of different venues!

I always look at comments about DJs and Music Policy very carefully. As a promotion we try very hard to cater for all the different harder styles

Will there are a lot of people that are saying that they will never go to a frantic event again, half our group of 10 left before 2.30, which we would never have done in the past. The only reason that some of us stayed was because we were going to the after party which was far better than the main event. Rob T and Helen and Caz rocked it. Why were they not at the main event. Frantic should be supporting them fully.
When Phill Reynolds was on the room was half empty....... does that not say any thing???
Cally on at 10 pm, MDA and Spherical on at 9pm come on.....
Bit like Ko Ko with Steve Hill and Technikal on at 10pm, the sequence of djs do not flow.
Please take note or Frantic will diminish from what it was.

People have been saying that for months over the fact that Frantic over use Hidden but the same people still attend the events hosted there.....*yawns*

only went to see matt n mark and phil, and phil absolutley smashed it for me, loved hearing him drop in take control, massive track for me love it.

Massive thanks to Qudos at the afterparty for playing my new track.

But for me I didnt find it as enjoyable as other frantic events, bit under populated, didnt have the balcony open at all which i didnt like.

Bottles of water without tops on eh? whats going on there.

also having to wait till nearly 12pm to go out for freshair/cigerette wasa bit lame.

The filth foyer was just that and always has been, Tom and Steves set was as good as ever, nice one guys!

Main room was a lil too hard on the bass for me, but maybe it was set up for HARDSTYLE academy and not HARDHOUSE academy.

apart from that, I have a really good time!

see u all soon.

I think Frantic finally realise that Hardstyle/European sound is the way forward lol!!!

Nah, on a serious note The Frantic line-ups ive seen lately have surprised me with Headliners such as Activator(I don't think u Hard House followers actually realise how big this guy is??). Any UK DJ can't compare with the crowds he has played too and people still appear to 'disagree wiv all ths Hardstyle'.

I thought u were quite lucky to be honest to hav Acti headlining and think it's a big step forward for Frantic to book such a top DJ...

Exactly, he Headlines European Events where the capacity isn't around 4,000 like Brixton Academy.... try more like 40,000 - 70,000!!!

Because the night didn't progress in the right way...anyone looking at the lineup would know that it wouldn't of flowed without some serious thought!

Because it takes a lot less people to fill a broom cupboard then a football stadium!!

I'm not disputing that the main room was quieter than in previous years, the whole building was quieter than in previous years - as have been quite a few events of late, it's just really starting to get on my tits hearing that phrase over and over again, because the rooms aren't anywhere near comparable in size!!
