Following the massive success of our July event, which saw over two thousand ravers pile through the doors, Riot! are pleased to announce their return to London’s biggest nightclub matter on Friday 27th November this time for an event held in conjunction you UK hard dance institutions Goodgreef and Storm! Once again this party will be held on a Friday, matter’s ‘specialist’ night, ensuring the crowd are true hard dance fans. Expect lasers, dancers and no dress code so come as clubby / cybered as you like and expect a party atmosphere like only Riot! can deliver!

** RIOT PRESENTS GOODGREEF! **

Riot! are proud to co-host this event with northern clubbing institution Goodgreef and with both events being voted former Mixmag ‘Club Of The Years’ you know this is goping to be a very special occasion! Goodgreef have been putting on storming parties for the last eight years alongside running their own festivals; Parklife, Atomik Weekender and Isle Life plus hosting arenas at some of the biggest festivals in the UK and beyond, helping launch the careers of many artists along the way. Having just released triple disc compilation Goodgreef Xtra Hard mixed by headliners Showtek, Kutski and Lisa Lashes, it really is a party partnership match-made in heaven!

** INSANE LINE UP! **

Yoji will be playing his first London set in three years! The Japanese megastar’s powerful stage presence accompanied by his captivating sound and cutting edge technical skills has made him one of the fastest rising stars in the world of dance music. Having recently torn the roof off at Judgement Sunday’s in Ibiza, Yoji will not disappoint the Riot Crew! Dutch masters Showtek will be proving why they swept every gong in sight at this year’s Hard Dance Awards plus the world’s No.1 female DJ Lisa Lashes will be taking to the decks to hype the crowd once again. Riot die-hard favourites BK and Anne Savage will be playing a very special back 2 back set (miss it at your own peril!) whilst Radio 1’s Hard Dance legend Kutski will be on hand to impress with his multi deck, scratching set alongside Bootek who will be playing a jaw dropping, awe inspiring 4-deck live set, mashing up dance classics in the tough way. With Traffic / Riot head honcho Scott Attrill who has just released album Mega to much acclaim, the mighty Ed Real and hot talent Luca Antolini also on the bill, the line up is already looking considerably large… AND IT’S ABOUT TO GET BIGGER!

**ROOM 2 HOSTED BY STORM!**

Having represented hard dance in the midlands for many years the award-winning Storm is a force to be reckoned with. With regular events held at The Emporium in Coalville as well as hosting arenas at events like Atomik Weekender Storm journey to London to host Room 2 at this mind-bendingly large event. Stepping things up a gear the Storm room features the full on sounds of the legendary Mark EG alongside Organ Donars, Gammer, Andy Farley, Storm resident Jimmy Dean and Matt Handy.

Some people had their glow sticks taken off them as they were considered 'weapons.'

hmm maybe a couple people were searched by bouncers who didnt have a clue but there were a lot of glowsticks inside so its definitly not a club policy to forbid them.

Did you threaten to attack the security with your glow stick? If so I can understand why they might have taken them off you ;) xx

On a more serious note, if you were caught using glow sticks to do poi and had to be asked more than twice to stop than yes they were taken off you, whilst not dangerous weapons they do hurt if you get smacked by one intentionally or accidentally. Most clubs that are as busy as Riot was would apply the same policy as it is a little dangerous

I'm sure anyone who's stood within a metre of you in a club could disagree :P

I don't use glow sticks, but was told how some people had them taken off them at the door.

If people spin responsibly, there shouldn't be a problem. I managed to walk into Nick when he was spinning once, despite the fact that there was at least four metres space around him. I clearly need to learn to look where I'm walking and had to appologise profusely because I felt like such a div!

Yes that may all be fine, but when people who do Jumpstyle/Shuffle/Poi etc... make room around themselves to stop people getting hurt etc all people see is the SPACE!

"Oh wow, look at all that space! Let's go there!" and just aim for the space, no clue to whats around them... then WHACK! *rolls eyes*

Exactly, and whilst I'm probably going to get eaten for saying this, and am happy to admit I have never made it to a Riot at Matter.....I have made it to psy trance at Matter, having heard all the horror stories of offensive clientele, abusive security etc etc I was expecting to be shot at point blank range for wearing jeans and trainers, and generally looking like something from the local jumble sale....
In my mind the crowd were a lot more pleasant than the Ministry delights on a Friday night, the security were polite and chatty (and I think one was quite cute) the lighting was fab, the sound was awesome, and despite being blind drunk I didn't stumble into anyone whizzing pieces of plastic round their heads!! (I'm not knocking the whole poi concept, but there has to be a time and a place, and a club that busy doesn't really seem to be it IMO)

I love dirty grotty dark clubs, and Matter is obviously a change from this, but it is just that, a change of scenery, not a concentration camp!!!
