Shindig will be turning 18 in 2010 which means it will officially be old enough to come to its own club.

The birthday celebrations aren't til May (we'll tell you more about them at the time) but as for now they kicking off their big year when the club reopens on Jan 23 with Joey Negro among others.

Shindig caught up with the Simple Records boss as he heads straight back to crafting more sumptuous deep house, after months of compiling his three-disc contribution to EQ Recordings’ Balance series.

We managed to pull our own visual vandal Pete Bartram away from his Macbook for a few minutes to discuss the future of the VJ and Shindig’s long-running affinity for quality visuals.
