OMG!! just had a flashback and realised i finally got to meet jco6 for the first time on friday after seeing you on here for the past 2 and a half years but never actually managing to bump into you... recognised you instantly too if i remember rightly... :) sorry u had to leave early.... :(
so what did you think then? :)

so gutted i missed this , i fuckin loves digweed but have got other things to deal with at the mo.

cant beleive john was there (jc) , what fetches him back up this end of the country? he moved away some time ago due to work commitments.


i've still not made a shindig at legends yet , somethings always come up. but by the sound of it i think the bouncers would probably have me on edge.
still , i'll try to make it there one day.

Been to legends twice now and dono if i like it...ill give it one more go.

woop woop! aye ventured in for 30min with mr v, although his lass didn't like it so away we went again. good to meet you chippy! nice to see ben as we did a swap at the cloakroom. although it shutting at 1 was random. how can you get a coat out but not put one in. i liked legends, was just like i remembered! was pretty pissed though, ha ha. From what i heard of diggers he was good, i shall defo have to make a better mark next time i'm up, even if it was just to empty the garage like thi stime, Going for a quick pint at 6pm was a bad idea!

Bloody expensive half an hour, will have to have a word with Marty about his GF's poor behaviour like, that simply won't do ha ha!

Ha ha, I know. It was probably a little longer than that, I was quite hammered tbh. Shindig isn't for everyone, I know my gf isn't a lover, which means I get to go without her :)

I know there was some issues with staff and doormen, but I think Legends could be a great club for Shindig, just the right level of darkness, decent size, decent sound and lighting.

thanks for the explanation about the cloakroom.. i was dancin next to these guys that had come all the way from aberdeen and they were holdin onto their jackets and didn't seem to be gettin the full experience at all. i didn't get it at the time and kept wanting them to do something with their jackets..

sounds to me, from all the comments i've heard on & off here, like legends could maybe benefit from some new ownership/manangement ;)

heard that some ppl with influence were there last friday too so got my fingers crossed........ :)

at the end of the day the venue that was the riverside/foundation has gone.. but there is still a demand for what happened there..

i live in hope that we will find/create the perfect venue :)

p.s. please will someone add this nite to the dsi calendar as i haven't got a scooby (oops) how to do it! :)

Sorry I havnt been on DSI for AGGGES Chippy so I havnt put the events on, I'll add it in a while... As for Shindig on a Friday - useless... get it sorted Scott/Scooby/Neil/Del/Mark etc etc hahahaha :)

..... as for Legend's the less said the better.... Newcastle is crying out for a venue to hold nights like Shindig etc and as controversial as this maybe, Legend's and WHQ do rubberduck all for me! :)
