Years ago when they were naming all the saints they forgot that Valentine, was really known for just going around and giving everyone he saw a big juisy SOLIDKISS and of course everyone did just the same! As the powers who be could not bere the thought of this going on all day (they were grumpy old things), so they named the day after his name's sake and everyone stopped following example and decided to give flowers and chocolates insteed.
