What is soundas events?




Soundas was originally formed in west London in 2005 by Marcelo Marques and Josh Chancer, both of them being DJ’s and keen Clubbers, wanted to take their knowledge and experience to something new and exciting. With that Soundas was born!
Soundas got its first night at Club U4ria in west London and went on to host regular nights there, with Josh & Marcelo, the resident DJ’s, who invited a more underground circle of DJ talent to play at their nights. These nights went from strength to strength and, as a result, went on to support and collaborate with other promotions such as The International Indoor Festival Seone and the infamous Finger Parties of west London. Wanting to take things further, Soundas decided to head off to the motherland of Marcelo Marques, Brazil.
DJ’ing and promoting in Mines Gerise, both Marcelo and Josh started to host their own nights and other gigs in Patos, Rio de Janerio and Bella Horizotize. All the While Soundas was still going strong back in the UK, in the hands of Lance Hopkins/Ollie Jaye & the Welsh boys. With Josh now back in the UK, the Soundas team are working together to bring you some fantastic, unmissable nights of Techno/Trance and House in London/Wales & the Sounth West!

Have a DJ and VJ lesson with Markus Schulz in Ministry's DJ booth

Markus Schulz is set to exhibit an audio and visual feast at Ministry of Sound on Friday October 9.

The Coldharbour boss is one of the biggest trance DJs to dip his feet into the specialist area of visual DJing, which he's showcasing at The Gallery – which also plays hosts to the Trance Awards that night.

Markus is teaming up with The Gallery, Mixmag and DSI to offer a (very) select few the chance to take part in a DJ master class at the club, just hours before he tears up the same Ministry dance floor. You’ll learn how to mix, massage and craft audio and visuals together direct from the man himself. You’ll be able to pick up further tips direct from those award-winning fingers with VIP entry into the club for the main event.

To win this prize just tell us in the comments below why you need a DJing lesson. You must be available on October 9 from 9pm. Normal Mixmag Ts and Cs apply. We'll pick a winner on Thursday October 8.
