Aww your quite cute really aint ya. Make me wanna put you in a box and take you home, for a skullfucking.

Awww please please can we? :3 Eeeee!

I don't know about anyone else (not that anyone else's opinion matters as I'm Golly) but Im sick and tired of seeing little girls prancing/posing around in contagious outfits on Stage, and when they do eventually dance they put in no fucking effort at all!

The DOA can dance ALOT better than the other Dance Troupe's I've worked with, they love Hardstyle and they stand out (which in this industry is a must). Enough said!

Steinbeck said:
And as for musical mixing, who's the one on the decks here? Promoters don't book people that can't mix let alone ask them to become resident or have them headlining.

Exactly! So mrtellitlikeitis....go cry me a river! :P

see you all there then...

Frankly I'd prefer not to - if you've got no interest in the performance, production and atmosphere, that in addition to the all essential music, make an event, it would be a serious waste of your pocket money to attend - perhaps a night in with your i-pod would be less offensive to you?

djs that seem to to think that being a "showman" is more important that learning to mix.
No one is disputing the benefits of being able to mix - fortunately most are not near sighted enough to turn to regress to, or perhaps still be, the kid in the playground who doesn't like someone's outfit

at steinbeck.....jog on son, far as im concerned you couldnt mix a fairy cake you gay version of satan wannabee

As for Steinbeck, I'm sure if you bother to read back, he probably got the best feedback of the night by far - I'm sure he's carefully noted your opinion and is deeply troubled by it - however I wouldn't wait in at home for a phone call requesting mixing tuition, however i'm sure he could give you a little personality advice

ive never seen em at any events like gg, clinic, zion, bionic, advokate, sector-9, hostile, distorted...or even any of the scottish events
I'd suggest you voice your sentiments to the promoters of some of these nights, unfortunately for your close minded self, I'd imagine that they've considered the talents of the homosexual occult, and you may well be mortified to find them popping up on lineups all over the place before the year is out....

Anyway kiddly wink, I think that's enough said on that one - you don't like, we don't really care - constructive criticism maybe more than welcome, playground strops are not....

I'm sure Nutty would be delighted to send you his most recent mix, so that whilst the rest of us are promoting, and enjoying, the presence of hardstyle in the capital, you can enjoy your own company from the safety and security of your bedroom.

Wow, It's bad enough slagging people off on the internet as opposed to just telling them strait your opinion, but to actually make a separate account for the purpose of doing so?

Now either you are just a sad coward who has nothing better to do, which is fine by me. Or, as I somewhat suspect, you have more to lose from this than we do and that’s why it bothers you so much. Your dialect indicates to me that you originate in a place a further north than London? I could be wrong there, mabey the place has just had that much of an influence on you.

All the events you mention are not held in In London. London does not really have a hardstyle scene, this was pretty much the first hardstyle only event in London and we were there to show our support. We are not just about ourselves, We are actually interested in promoting hardstyle as much as promoting what we do. You are not interested in helping to support this, you just go somewhere else, this is fine but if you are not going to contribute, you have no right to complain! Other places have a good hardstyle scene and we would like to see this for ourselves And therefore we are doing all we can to make it happen. This was Steinbeck’s fourth event and he was booked for it because not only can he mix, better I am sure than you ever will be able to, but he combines this with getting the crowd going, which makes it more enjoyable for them, that is what matters. I would say it is as much about getting the crowd going as it is the mixing, if you just stand static behind the decks it doesn’t matter how good you are, if It was only about the mixing then we wouldn’t bother with live Djs, how about we all just record some Cds and go and listen to them in a club? Or as Catnip says, sit at home with our I pods?

My favourite part is when you tell us to grow up! You behaviour resembles that of an angry child who is not able to construct a sentence properly due to a mixture of anger and the lack of ability to do so in the first place. And you call us geeks when you are sitting behind your computer slagging people off with no of and intelligent argument and not even revealing your identity. Come back to us when you have something constructive to say, and perhaps do it on your proper dsi account at least, unless of course you cannot afford to do that because upon revealing who you are, any claim that you know your talking about falls apart.

dont make me laugh.

my issue and beef with all this crap is

there is some real talent out there...and there is talent all be it "dancers or djs" that are pucka gen shit...but becos they wear horns on there head or wear making up there knowns as djs with stage presenses...

and the very fact that i voice my concerns that joker like these guys wont be...nor have been seen at real events...like the ones ive posted up.

djs and producers such as nutty t and kidd kaos...play all over the country (and for kidd koas beyond) as real hard work...not wearing make up is what its about.

i might be an alias voicing my opinions...or i might be actually some one whos knows nothing about the scene.

but i can tell you now.

i know real talent as spending my time since 2001 do my "thang"

allow my to list them.

the bionic boys....cally mcbunn, brian m and juice, and maybe even frisky 9all be it some of these guys wear make up....but they actually deliver!!!
goodgreef, ie kutski, dbd, jordan suckley, morgan. neal thomas
kiddfectious..alex kidd, kiddkaos
advokate. dj rascal, alan wilson, d10, jamie pell
zion , yofridiz, big lean
other guys... dj hustler, dj tone, mic-e, korrupter, sysksey, ben mat, chris dingo, sonny darko (all be it he wears make up) nikmacdj, dj hardcheck, smurf, dj wragg, nick the kid

and out of that list there is 8 of them playing internationally

all various styles....but real djs who can deliver

im sorry...but you wanna go on about steinbeck...then crack on...im all for giving feed back.....

but if your paying money to go to an event...seeing people struggle to get the mix within reason of being tight after nearly six mins is im sorry a joke....spending more time concentrating instead of wondering if ya make up is running.

at least when watching nutty he showed that his own productions and mixing skills were professional...to the standards that should be fit of person in his position.

and believe me i dont spend my weekends in my room....and i can assure you there well aware of that gaylords of bum annhilaltion and they wont be gracing the decks or dancefloors any time soon of any real nights in the uk.....

but you think im narrow minded...not really, the days of cyber within club land will be missed, as from the early days of gatecrasher this was a vibrant and colourful show of indvidualism....not just guys in red and black trying to do some small piss pants attempt at melbourne shuffle.

as why aint any of them...nor the djs that reside in the oh great capital of london found them selfs gracing the decks of any of them nights that are all over the country.

cos their poo

Actually, I will stop you right there.

As far as I can see from your pathetic ramblings, the only REAL issue you have with the DJs is the fact that I glued some Prosthetic Horns on Loki and do Steinbeck's, D4rK & the DOA's Makeup (As well as Frisky, Cally & Juice, MC Shocker etc)....

Now, I'd just like to point out that before I came onto the scene they didn't really wear makeup & shock shock horror horror, they still got booked! So, the fact that I often do their Makeup has in no way ruined their career, they are still getting bookings and will continue to do so with or without my War Paint.

Oh and I'd like to point out, the list of Events you listed?

A fair amount of the DJs wear Makeup and the Event, well it isn't just an Event... they put on a fucking show! ;-)

im all for giving feed back.....

Feedback...?, all I've heard so far is just bitching and moaning about how your precious night was ruined by jokers in make up and bad mixing...? (none of which I heard, and I wouldn't mind if there was a gorilla in a tutu standing up there, provided they were entertaining and played well... :) )

I mean fair enough you are entitled to your opinion, and you've made a couple of arguably valid points, but I'd say that the 'vast' majority of people who turned up that night thoroughly enjoyed it, there was dancing all the way through, no uncomfortable moments, a quality atmosphere and for a first event of it's kind in London which could have gone either way, it was pretty damn good, and an admirable effort from all those who were involved.

But hey, vote with your feet by all means and go and fuck off elsewhere, I know I'll be happily going to the next one... :)

seeing people struggle to get the mix within reason of being tight after nearly six mins

Does a mix between two records actually last six minutes? Either you mean something else or you're not sure what you're talking about.

What you've basically said is that it's ok, in your eyes, to wear make-up if you've already made it as a DJ (eg. Cally&Juice). And you've used the make-up as an excuse to attack a performance by a DJ that you consider not up to scratch, yet listed a few DJs who you don't mind wearing make-up. Instead of trying to give Steinbeck some constructive feedback, you've just mentioned an instance when apparantly one mix was out of time.

This is also starting to sound like a North vs South Hardstyle debate. You mention "proper" nights that happen around the country, but don't seem to want to try and help Hardstyle become more prominent in London. Surely you'd want to give some feedback to try and make Octane a bigger presence in the capital. Instead you use it as a chance for a cheap dig at a few DJs you quite obviously don't like.

I go back to this point once again, DJing is a performance. How different people choose to do their performance is part of the fun of seeing different DJs. I love watching a DJ get into their act ,just like Nutty T standing on the mixer for his first mix, or D4rk standing on the booth speakers.

Either give some decent feedback or don't bother spewing your crap all over this thread.

and to be fair... I'd be a lot more inclined to take you seriously if you actually had a picture up.

If you were at Octane, no doubt one of the many spotters would have taken your photo... So go ahead and spot yourself and we'll take it from there.

Or, if you are deeply involved within the Music/Club Industry and your worried your "rep" will be ruined/damaged due to this thread feel free to send me or Andy a PM/Email with your photo and we can have words at the next event.

Don't worry Im not going to attack you... ;-)

the fact that people choose to wear make up has got nothing to do with the person's ability to mix or not !!!!!!

the bionic boys....cally mcbunn, brian m and juice, and maybe even frisky 9all be it some of these guys wear make up....but they actually deliver!!!

FACT: Cally & Juice, Frisky, MC Shocker all wear makeup.
FACT: Golly does their makeup.

dbd
Talking of clowns... FACT: He wore a Clown mask for his entire set at the Tidy Weekender whilst strutting up and down the stage.

advokate. dj rascal, alan wilson, d10, jamie pell
zion , yofridiz, big lean
Fact: Advocate contacted Golly to do the makeup for ALL the Advocate DJs at the
Tall Trees event last year.
FACT: The promoter of Advocate spoke to me on MSN prior to the event discuss enquiring where I purchased my "Vampfangs" IF I recall correctly, he had spent £200 getting a pair moulded specifically for his teeth.

Chris dingo
Check his DSi profile for our Back 2 Back at the end of last year... up north... think you'll find he was wearing more makeup than the DOA put together and we had an awesome set!

So that's over 50% of what you've said confirmed at absolute bullshit, which would be a good judgement for the rest of your ranting.

Should I go on?

omg another debate lol

I think the atmosphere was great if im honest, met up with some great people
Thanks for the kind words about my set mate but I feel youve gone a little over the top a bit, maybe be a little more constructive on your critism and then the dj or dj's can take it on board.

he he yer this is why i dont generally bother with this site anymore people like this ruin it.

I don't care if u think think we are shit 'mr tell it like it is' which by the way is a pretty ironic name considering you arnt even honest enough to show your face! Nobody cares about you or your life if u dont like what we do thats fine but to say we, that is d.o.a D4rk golly and all the rest of them dont work hard pisses me off. Alot of effort was put into the preparation of this event and we all worked hard on the night, The djs were all on form so to say others work hard and we dont is bullshit.

the amount of times you contradict your self is un fucking believable. listing cally and juice when not only do the wear make up, but gol gotha who organised this event does it for them!!!!! HA HA amazing. you know nothing, nothing about anything. :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

as you can see no one agrees with you, not even the people you like, being rude gets you no where when you have no knowledge to back it up. I tend not to argue with people on here anymore because it just gets old, but you are such an exceptional twat i was inclined to reply. so if you could just kindly bugger off out of our forums and stay away from anything associated with them or octane, i would be much obliged :)

That was the impression I got as well fella, and like you said if the critisism is usefull I'll more than happily take it on board.
Just calling me a gay satan clown wannabe whatever don't really help much, and to be honest if you think your the first person to say that to me then I got news for you bud (the comments from walking through the DnB tent at Sanctury festival were some of the best.) I've heard all the issues people have with my image before but until it bothers me personally what people say then don't hold your breath for a change ;)

Mr Faceless Wonder:
You've mentioned you like Nutty and Kaos who were both there on the night and I'm sure you enjoyed them then, I'm sorry if you didn't like my style. I never expected every single person to like what I do, can't win 'em all hey. But surely that just shows that the event has been organised with a diverse line up with something that everyone will enjoy?

Anyway the best thing to summise is that you know my name, you can take a well educated guess at what I will look like if our paths cross again so if you see me on a line up, check the set times and pop outside for an hour while I'm on cos I'm afraid I don't have any plans to stop here ;)
