These guys are the pro's and with good reason. For the new people on the scene like myself they are also known as influences, that is that i have seen them all and try to recreate a little bit of what I saw in my own style. Perhaps I haven't got it quite right yet but thanks to the promoters thinking that I should have the chance believe me I'm working on it ;)

Good point Phizz, BUT......

A) I think it's funny and has provided quality entertainment for me over the last few days!

B) Most of the promoters and DOA have conducted themselves in a professional and intelligent way on this thread and actually tried to get the complainer to elaborate on what is bothering him. This shows they are promoters that care. Unfortunately the gentleman in question is unable to articulate himself properly and just carries on repeating the same argument, missing the point by wider and wider margins as the debate goes on and he completely ruined the banter for me! :(

C) "SO WHAT" springs to mind....this is ONE person out of the whole of the thousands of DSI members who has had something negative to say. I wonder why he thinks he's so important (especially, as others point out, he has no picture on his profile). Why not just voice his opinion and then go about the rest of his life?!

I most likely would not attend a night that was purely hardstyle but I know lots of people who would, and went to Octane and enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Good on you guys for your efforts in starting to create a proper hardstyle scene in London. If we didn't have people coming up with new brands, promotions and fresh ideas then the scene we all love and enjoy so much would die.
And THAT would be a shame.
