THIS IS NOT ON!

What the hell have we done to deserve this. It's all down to the sad, lonely, senile people of Fareham Borough Council who are out to do injustice. I was hoping to play there early next year too.

I think we should all put a petition together and sent it to them. I can find out who to send it to tomorrow as i'm off work.

I'll get an address and then maybe we can all write some very strongly worded letters to the Borough.

Ben & Matt, if there is anything i can do to help just let me know.

DONT LET THOSE PEOPLE WHO RUN FAREHAM STOP US FROM HAVING HARMLESS FUN. WE HAVENT DONE ANYTHING WRONG AND THIS IS A TOTAL INJUSTICE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS!
ADD BUDDIES!
LETS ALL JOIN FORCES AND GET ONE OF THE BEST VENUES IN THE SOUTH BACK OPEN FOR BUSINESS AS USUAL!

:-)

It's a Winchester Council controlled area not Fareham, and Winchester are w*nkers, as I live in a Winchester controlled area too. I will ask the owners about it tomorrow when I am picking up the sound systems from there.......F'in gutted!

as far as I know 60% is Fareham council and 40% in Winchester. I imagine the Whitely residents kicked up a fuss, quite a few councillors live down that way.

I'm really pissed off. It's been open for ages as well when it was the Radcliffe, I guess they didn't mind the posh people going.

I have been in talks, but not confirming anything yet. I have spoken to one of the guys that run it today. It is Winchester for there end of Whitely. You are right Whitely is on the Winchester/Fareham border, one half is Fareham, but the other is Winchester...odd but there you go.

The Red Rooms is fully licenced firstly. No reason has been given for the venue being told to close. All they where told was that if they traded on Friday this week, they would be taken to court. I think I have found the reason why, after consulting with a relative who taught law, mainly licensing law for many years, and was on a council planning committee. I can’t comment more then that, but will do once I have confirmed a few things.

It is likely that even if the Red Rooms fought this, they won't get the venue open for another 3 months, but that was until I looked into what I am checking at the moment. So watch this space peeps.
