Tranzfest: Annual Halloween Ball with Sharkey, Dj Frisky. Friday 30th October @ L2, Truro. 10pm – 3am £5 Before 11pm

It’s that time again, the time for the L2 House of horrors, the Tranzfest Annual Halloween Ball Fancy Dress Special.

Upstairs, Happy Hardcore, Hard Dance & Hardstyle…

DJ/MC SHARKEY is one of the key originators of the freeform genre of hardcore dance music. Sharkey initially became well known as an MC at hardcore rave events in the UK in 1993, with a popular and charismatic style.

In 1995, he moved into music production, teaming up with DJ Hixxy to release the track "Toytown", which proved one of the biggest signature tunes of the UK's happy hardcore scene in the 1990s. Sharkey also produced mixes for Bonkers 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17. Volumes 4 and 5 achieved silver sales status in the UK with Bonkers 3 reaching gold status.

He established a relationship with the up-and-coming DJ Kevin Energy in 1998, and the pair was, with several other DJs, instrumental in the creation of the freeform genre of hardcore.

Added with the new school, DJ FRISKY is appearing – she is young, dynamic, gorgeous and playing a style that is dominated by men – these things all make you sit up and take notice of her.

Frisky has taken the UK and beyond by storm with her European Hard Trance and Hardstyle sounds, using her own tunes alongside bootlegs to wow the crowds. It’s not just her music that makes her who she is – Frisky’s style, her outfits and the way she interacts with every crowd, her fan base is widespread and growing fast.

Playing at all the big nights – Q-Dance, Frantic, Slammin’ Vinyl, Bionic, AWsum, and further she’s non stop. If you want someone with fierce talent, a unique image and the ability to bring a dance floor to its knees with pounding hard dance, you should enjoy Frisky.

Supported with the Tranzaction All stars, Tommie Quick and Greg Zizique this is one fright night occasion to get dressed up for!
