DIG DEEP, DANCE HARD… PURE SESSIONS PRESENTS: INTERVENTION-UK IN ASSOCIATION WITH CANCER RESEARCH UK – IT IS OUR FUTURE

On August 24th, Heaven London opens its doors to a very special dance music event. Intervention UK take over the UK’s premier superclub for ‘It Is Our Future’, a riotous celebration of all things hard and fast, while at the same time raising money for a very important cause.

While you’re dancing your asses off to Andy Farley, Cally Gage, Little Gem, Nicki S, Technikal, Dr Duzzit, K Complex and more, you’ll also be helping the Cancer Research UK organisation raise vital funds in the fight against one of the biggest killer diseases of our time.

Cancer affects everyone, touching us all in one way or another. Whether it’s family or friends, a neighbour, colleague, even a child or at its worst, ourselves – cancer doesn’t discriminate and it can tear lives apart. It doesn’t care what your creed, colour, social standing or religious beliefs are, it can hit at any time and the effects are devastating.

Cancer Research UK works tirelessly day in, day out to find a cure and to offer support for those affected by it. No-one knows this better than Intervention-UK promoter Steve Prince, whose own mother has been battling the disease for some time now.

“Cancer doesn’t just affect the person who has the disease but everyone around them,” Steve said. “I know this more than most as my mother is battling cancer right now and has been for some time. Cancer Research UK have given us so much support throughout the whole thing and this is my chance to give something back and really help to make a difference.

“If you’re looking for an amazing night of world-class music and you want to help us raise a lot of money, so that people who carry out this amazing work can continue to save lives and maybe come up with a cure, come down to Heaven. Remember – it’s our future too.”

So on Friday August 24th, we’re asking you to dig deep and dance hard at the same time. With three rooms of music filled with pumping hard house and hard trance and the biggest DJs you could get your hands on, there’s no better way to treat yourself and help someone else at the same time. 75% of all money taken on the door will go to the charity, with the remaining 25% going to cover club and promotion costs.
