U-like was born on March 14th 2001 and since then hasn’t looked back.. We have done club nights and free parties in various places in the Midlands but generally around Shropshire, east Powys. Had various big names down to play over the years including: Chris liberator, Mark E G, Dave the Drummer, Ribbz, Alex Calver, Ant and many others. More recently did a release party for Nubreed Records and got KN over from Japan who rocked the Cellars Not forgeting the lovely residents and guests the people who really make the party. We have a 3.8K rms rig, and now a 5k rms rig which could be run on their own or together. Its all proper quality and loud not cheap like soundlab, gemini etc SOUND GEAR 3.8K Mackie Rig 2 x mackie srm450 2-way 500w powerful Booth Monitor or Front speaker 2 x Mackie srm1530's 3-way 500w large front of house speaker 2 x Mackie 1500's 15" subs 500w Subs for above speakers 1 x Mackie fussion sub 18" 800w Very loud sub bass. DBX loudspeaker management system if using whole rig. New 5k Rig 4 x twin 15" folded horns (Turbosound) 4 x twin 12" with 2" tops. 2 x Amcron (Crown) Micro tech 601 (Mid / Top amps) 1 x FFA 5000 a massive 5K (should leave us plenty of head room!) quality amp for our subs, LIGHTING 1 x 80mw EU Pro 2 Green laser + controller very bright! 2 x Pearl river moon scanners About a grands worth, good quality. 1 x 400w UV cannon DECOR Various backdrops If you been to one of our parties im sure you will have heard the rig and know what its like.
