Ultra+ Biography
Recently voted 3rd best night in the country by Mixmag and also featured on Pete Tongs Radio 1 show.
Ultra+ was created by Ben Nott and began in the USA in 1997. Progressive house and trance were the sound back then and our events were held in empty warehouses and primarily non-commercial spaces. These events where a huge success with many having upwards of 5,000 people in attendance! During the Millenium period, times rapidly changed and so did Ultra+, so it was decided to move to Ben's native England to launch the brand on the other side of the Atlantic!

The Ultra+ brand is now reknowned for staging quality events throughout the UK, with an emphasis on cutting edge dance music, world class DJ's, unparalleled production and of course, a friendly no nonsense party atmosphere! The music at our events ranges from progressive house, through tech house, to techno and breakbeat, and our production is growning stronger and stronger; with upwards of 40k of sound pumping through our amazing Function 1 sound system, and a lazer show guaranteed to make your jaw drop, we can safely say every Ultra+ party will leave you screaming for more!
Our monthly Birmingham event is held at the mighty Custard Factory (Gibb Sq, Digbeth) - one of the best venues in the UK, and perfectly suited to Ultra+. We have been located at the Factory since 2004 and the nights have gone from strength to strength. For 2009 we plan to step up the pace with more headliners, better production, more live acts and you guessed it, more Ultra+ parties! So please, look out for Ultra+ hitting a venue near you soon!

We at Ultra+ are very excited about March 21st; Terry Francis- Fabric London
resident will be making a very rare appearance at Birmingham's finest
underground venue, The Rainbow.
Terry is one of the most talented djs out there and his legendary sets at
Fabric have made it into one of the best clubs in the world for underground
House & Techno.
Luke Dzierzek is a very talented producer who rose to fame quickly when
Citroen used his Echo Track for there car advert, since his productions have
been in high demand by Renaissance, Global Underground & Fling along with dj
appearances around the world, both guests are supported by Ben Nott Ultra+
resident.
Flylife will be taking over the bar with there ultra cool Funk, Soul,
Hip-hop & House
