I am part of a team of 3 who have decided to put a proper house night on in Northampton. Our aim is to provide a unique night where glamour meets proper house music, that can't be found at you local Weekend Club! The glamour gives all the things you would want and expect from a modern night, red carpet entrance, state of the art sound and lighting and a venue which is pleasant to be in! The music will be provided by the best DJ's and if you are in to house music, whatever genre, there will be something for you. We also have live vocals and Bongo's!

I Must mention Velvet's very own BEDROOM BAR!! A unique bar with soulful grooves and a four poster Velvet Bed to Chill-out on, whilst you sip a little champagne preparing to dance your socks off upstairs in the Main Room!

The launch night on Dec 02 2006 packed in over 500 people from across the county and was still pumping at 5:00.

Our aspiration is to grow the night and constantly add new features and attract head line DJ's to this part of the world. We are already planning our May Bank Holiday Gig.

We recognised the potential of L8 Bar as a club venue, something others are now starting to follow...
