While those who missed last months spectacular We Have Fun become bitter people consumed with regret, the rest of us drown out the sound of their lamentation with February's ball splittingly exciting line up!

Soulshake will shake more than just our souls with a multimedia mash up, beguiling both eye and ear into a state of audiovisual inebriation!

Scene legend ID will be holding court like some kind of rave King Arthur, bring forth the wenches and let us banquet on breaks!

All the residents will be in full effect, signalling the end of polite society like some Fun Horsemen of the Ravepocolypse. The fantabulous Fatman 88 comes back for a third helping of We Have Fun cake while Mr Bump, AWE and Hell Yeah will be causing the usual pandemonium and compelling us to move about in a funky manner.

Downstairs Electro Punk upstarts Dead Pixels will be making a stylish spectacle of themselves with their boppable tunes. Kaned and Abel will be giving us all a tutoring in scratchmological expolitation on the dancefloor with their mix of hip hop, beats and MC's to conduct the musical mayhem.

So while scientists try and work out how such dangerous levels of fun can be generated in a single night, come and have so much fun that it stops being fun and actually becomes quite painful! Funbelievable!

Hello peeps

Since calling it a day on C64 and the premature demise of DEF inc., Mark and I have been up to all sorts (Higher Status Events) Our AV act Soulshake has been observing, absorbing and fusing all these eclectic influences into an encyclopaedic collage of all that we see, hear and experience… So if you enjoyed our work before, we hope you'll enjoy our audiovisual mash-up this weekend where we'll be juxtaposing: retro funk, house, electro, techno, drum’n’bass, breakbeat, Bollywood, Hollywood, computer animation, advertising, newsreels, corporate globalization, Sun Ra, the arms trade, the race race, Muhammed Ali and Cardiff ;-)

Feels weird (and nice of course) being the host to you guys!

He he nice one guys, thanks for looking after us so well! :-) And SO nice to see old friends again...Hellyeah, Mr Bump, Lynn, Gerry Cockney, Hyperion, Joel, Kate, Kaz...it fair warmed me heart! Heard some really eclectic sounds upstairs and downstairs all night and loved the whole We Have Fun concept: looked up at one point to see people on the floor grinning like kiddies at the funfair, and then saw someone (Alex?) handing out UV glowbands to said grinning kids. Nice touch! Damn shame about that second projector going on the blink for double visual treats but oh well...saw plenty enough smiles and dancing feet on the floor :-)

Hope the night goes from strength to strength for 2009. Keep up the good FUN! X

Was wicked to see you too, Yas! Loved the visuals. Would have been excellent to see what you would have done had the second projector been up.

The whole night was really good. I was especially happy to see Kaned & Able live having got really into their music after first hearing their demo back in March 2008.
