For more than 9 years, the Loft nightclub has been one of the most highly respected nightclubs in the UK for dance music, having played host to some of the most memorable nights in Maidstone’s rich clubbing history. Some of the worlds biggest djs have graced the hallowed turntables upstairs, from Carl Cox, John Digweed, Deep Dish, Pete Tong, Eric Morillo, Annie Mac, Stanton Warriors, Nic Fanciulli & many many more. Now as The Loft fast approaches its 10th birthday we proudly present to you a night that looks set to live up to all those great nights of the past, and bring you many more, ladies and gentleman, we bring you White Noise!
Headlining for the launch of White Noise is a man who needs no introduction to anyone who has listened to the radio over the past couple of years, with a string of huge commecial house classics under his belt and a label that is the envy of many a househead across the globe, we bring you Seamus Haji. Having remixes the likes of Rihanna’s number 1 hit ‘Umbrella’, Just Jack, Roisin Murphy, Stonebridge, & last years smash hit ‘Boogie 2night’ by Boogie Luv. Add to that a succession of huge original productions including the classic ‘Last Night A Dj Saved My Life’ and the breathtaking ‘Take Me Away’ by Haji & studio partner Emmanuel.
Be sure to realise this isn’t just going to be a run of the mill night once Seamus enters the building and takes to the decks!
Introducing to you the residents of White Noise- Martin Wright, Pete Griffiths & Mark Gambrell. Martin Wright will probably be no stranger to many of you, having DJ’ed around the globe for over 10 years for the likes of Fierce Angels, Kinky Malinki, Sounds Heavenly & Miss Moneypennys, From Columbia to Jakatta Martin has travelled the length and bredth of the globe showcasing his unique talent for mixing quality house music of all styles.
Pete Griffiths is a young man who has really made an impact on the scene recently, working for the highly respected Toolroom records alongside Mark Knight, Pete has been touring for the label, taking him around the world in the last couple of years, but this local Maidstone lad has always wanted to bring what he does on the road back to Maidstone- hence the launch of white noise. Rounding off the trio is Mark Gambrell another local dj who has been seriously impressing with his residency at the Source bar in Maidstone, as well as a very successful “Loft Presents…Mark Gambrell”.
Taking control of downstairs at for this party will be the hugely successful twisted, who have literally taken the town by storm with their mix of nu-rave, indie and electro. Residents Liam K & Guppy will be rocking the dancefloor all night long!
So there we have it, another major night at the loft is announced, and another quality night of house music assured, get ready to party people cos white noise is here!
