DANCE AID is unarguably the most successful 100% charity night in the UK

Since the award-winning venture was set up in 2006 by DJs Mete Alpsakarya and Wayne Eldridge, more than £60,000 has been raised for 4 charities and thousands of happy clubbers have had a night to remember.
These are no ordinary fundraisers - these are 100% charity events with every single penny going to NSPCC, British Heart Foundation, Great Ormond Street hospital, and Action For Children Children's Charity.

It's all down to the silver tongued DJ's abilities to convince promoters, designers, dancers, top international DJ's and performers and the management behind some of the nation's best venues to offer their services for free.
Over the past 3 years Dance Aid has been held in top London venues, Scala Kings x, Seone and Ministry Of Sound - boosted by innovative Facebook and internet campaigns via the boys' very own online channel Clubtown.tv & Danceaid.tv

In 2007 the young dads won the South London Press newspaper's Heroes campaign Community Project award and were made 'Golden Heart Heroes' by The British Heart Foundation 2007 Testament to the high regard in which their communities hold them, the lads also won £1,000 in the South London Press 'Let's Do It' campaign to launch DJ lessons in local schools and came second for fundraisers of the year in 2008

Between setting up this project and campaigning to save their local toy library in Lewisham the busy pair are planning the next DanceAid at Tiger Tiger in 2009, on 12/04/09 - which promises to be bigger and better than the last 4 nights..

But they are still need people with a passion for making a difference to help turn this into the best 100% charity event yet.
