Throb does Poland
For a bleary eyed and slightly confused assortment of DSI regulars and a few virgins among us, the 6:30 rendezvous at Luton airport was a shock the system, especially for Junior who hadn’t bothered with any sleep yet again…

2 hrs later we’re in Warsaw and Ian’s sorted us out a mini bus to take us to the hotel leaving us just enough time to smoke a much needed fag!

Once there, first things first, we put in a rather obscene order to the gorgeous Piotr to go and sort us out for the weekend. Job well done Piotr, you aint hearing any complaints this end.

After a bit of sight seeing, food etc we reconvene at the hotel to be swiftly transferred to Piercarnia, Warsaw’s premier club, and the place is awesome. The atmosphere was fantastic, the people couldn’t have been more up for it and the music, well we were doing the music so obviously you couldn’t get much better than that. We ended up having our own after party in the garden until 8am with all the staff at Pircarnia and Frank and Junior spinning! Something tells me we might be seeing those Pircarnia guys again.

A little less sleep and one train journey later we’re in Krakow, thank God for Piotr and Ian, none of us were really sure what was going on at this point but they had the tickets and managed to herd us along with out too many problems.

The weather was gorgeous and the place was picture perfect so after a day of recovering, a bit of shopping and general mungaling it’s back out for another night of carnage this time at Krakow’s newest club Ruza, where yet again, the throb tag team tore up the dance floor and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone consume so much Vodka (Junior?).

The owner of Ruza enjoyed it so much he rounded us all up and off we go to an after party at Krakow’s infamous Prozac, a labyrinth of dance floors, chill outs and bars underground…needless to say we didn’t reemerge til well after day break!

All in all, the trip was a huge success and a big thank you has to go to Infamous Events for sorting everything out (and we mean everything), all we want to know now is, where next?

I can't really add much to this other than thanks Ian, and when can we go again... I would also ask all other crews to consider this as an option... a great way to go away with about 20 mates...

I am glad you all enjoyed the tour. I am really glad that we all made it back in one piece, well the body did, the mind was in pieces.

It was a truely wicked weekend it took me over a week to catch up with all the sleep I missed out on.

If you would like more info about the tours to Poland and other destinations please visit Infamous Events

If you are a promoter/DJ and are intersted in going on a tour to Poland please drop me a line.

Once again thanks to the Throb Tag Team for taking Poland by storm.

Until the next time.
