After rocking Plan B to its foundations in May with over 600 punters through the door to see Norman Jay, House Rules return to their spiritual home in Brixton on Saturday 5th July for our infamous Summer Party. Already an institution in its own right, this is always our biggest show of the year and we're delighted to welcome rising star Micky Slim to the main room CDJ's. His remix of House Of Pain’s 'Jump Around' catapulted him into the DJ stratosphere last year. Micky's the ultimate party DJ and one of the scene's rising stars. If Micky wasn’t enough, Gareth Wyn is flying back in from his Cream Ibiza residency especially and Olli Collins will be making his House Rules debut. Olli’s no stranger to a good party and quality house music, he’s resident for ultra cool London nights Pushca and Lip Glosz. Resident support comes from the talented Dave Duffield. Basement Sessions presents: BeGood Room Two plays host to well known South London night BeGood. From a one off event in an upstairs room of a pub in Notting Hill in 2004, they’ve notched up an impressive resume of events selling out seven London Boat Parties and been tipped for massive things by Time Out. Expect house music for your mind, body and soul, a perfect compliment to the awesome main room. BeGood head honchos John Spacey and Ryan Stern are on deck duty joined by Charlie Cantanka who also makes his House Rules debut. For the past year Charlie's bouncy electro house style has rocked the dance floors of Turnmills at his residency there with Smartie Partie. Since the closure of Turnmills he has been a regular face more locally with Promised at the White House. Completing the bill House Rules welcomes back an old favourite in resident Whaid Hussain - always a pleasure to have the Worcester legend back on the CDJs. House Rules is all about a big Saturday night out, glamorous party people who love quality, upfront house music on a kick ass Funktion One sound system - not forgetting Plan B’s fantastic menu of over 80 cocktails... While we have your attention, don’t forget the latest edition of House Rules TV featuring an interview with Norman Jay and footage from the May Bank Holiday party.
