Cape Town Rivals Ibiza!!!

The opening party on Saturday 17 February kicks off in Camps Bay at Global Breakthrough’s sundowner residency, Café Caprice. As the sun melts into the Atlantic Ocean in front of you, Norman Jay kicks off the beat in a way only the legendary Norman Jay can do.
At less than a pound for a pint and a fiver for a seafood platter prepare to live like kings, even if it is just for 2 weeks.

After a bit of “Good Times”, the party then moves up the road for a monster session with Global Underground and Lee Burridge at the warehouse adjoining the decadent club, Opium.

Next door in the plush Opium front room overlooking the courtyard is Defected featuring the deep and soulful DJ Spen and local Defected releasing artist Dino Moran.

Wednesday 21 February is a special event where 2 London residents battle it out against 2 Cape Town residents at a Location TBC.

Friday 23 February is another massive double header when Renaissance featuring wonder boy James Zabiela and Toolroom Records featuring head honcho label boss Mark Knight venture 20 minutes out of town to Bloemendal wine estate each staking their claim in the valley of dreams. Make sure your camera is ready to shoot and roll with 270’ mesmerizing views of Table Mountain and the whole of Cape Town.

From winelands to oceans Cass & Friends crank it up at a secret ocean view location on Saturday 24 February joined by Jonty Skrufff and special surprise guests. Expect more of that filthy electro house music from sunset to stardust.

Yes, fish dig bass. Wednesday 28 February Âme goes deep and takes on The Shark Predator Tank at The Aquarium for this very exclusive event.

Friday 2 March take a walk on the wild side with Steve Bug (Poker Flat) as he headlines The Lion’s Den at the Rhodes Memorial Old Zoo. Minimal, tech house rising star Shane Watcha and dynamite newcomer Claudia Lovisa will also make their presence felt for what is set to be an unforgettable night.

On Saturday 3 March, the final event is hosted by The Diamond Club-Ibiza providing a decadent night out at Zep Tepi with special guest Clive Henry (Peace Division / Circo Loco – DC10).

So what about rest days?

If you haven’t been sucked into another villa after-after party and you’re looking for something to do on your Monday and Tuesday “rest days” then there is no place in the world that offers as much variety as Cape Town. An adrenalin junkie’s paradise, winelands just out of town and of course some of the most beautiful beaches right on your door step. Global Breakthrough’s big brother Love Cape Town has it all covered.

Look out for the new; FREE Love Cape Town magazine or go online at www.lovecapetown.com to see why there really is no place in the world like Cape Town.
