FIB Heineken - Benicàssim International Festival 2009 A cross between a music festival and a summer holiday with your mates, Benicassim's popularity has soared in recent years due to its guaranteed hot climate and lack of rain plus the attraction of a beautiful beach to laze around on during the day in typical Spanish siesta style. Four days of indie pop and electronica across the Main Stage and several smaller stages in tents will keep your thirst for music well and truly quenched. Bands start around 6pm, headliners hit the stages around 1am and DJs keep the party alive 'til 6am, meaning Benicassim is ideal for all those who prefer to stay up all night and sleep all day. Located at the 986,300 km mark of N-340, the venue that hosts the International Benicàssim Festival will become, from Thursday to Sunday, the hub for the thousands of fibers who attend the Festival every summer from different corners of the world. The venue covers an area of 120,000 square meters, home to diverse musical and cultural spaces, and boasts all the services necessary to make the Festival’s attendees feel comfortable, at ease and safe.
