Miami maestro Robbie Rivera and UK electro-house fiends Coburn combine forces in this contagious number which hits all the right notes.

The transatlantic pairing came about after Robbie sent Coburn parts of a track to remix. Loving it so much but also throwing a few ideas of their own into the pot the two parties decided to one step further and turn it into a collaboration; with Robbie agreeing to do an extra remix.

Already the track has caused a storm in UK; gaining multiple airplays on variety of many of Radio One’s and Galaxy ‘s shows and nuzzling its way to the Top of the DMC charts.

Fusing elements of electro-house, grooves and a throbbing bassline Superstar will tickle the taste buds of house, electro, breaks, minimal, techno and mainstream fans. Like its predecessors; Coburn’s We Interrupt this Programme’ and Robbie’s ‘Your Mistake’ this juicy morsel is on target to garner appeal right across the board from the dark twisted dancefloors to the commercial airwaves.

The energy launches from the off. Pounding beats and a chunky techno bass rhythm rub together with an electro driven riff, steeped in quirky acidly bleeps and twists. All this is threaded together by Tim Healy’s rock inspired vocals lamenting; “ You’re so bizarre, you’re a Superstar.”

This won’t be the last you see these guys together. Robbie is currently remixing Coburn’s next single due for the release later in the summer; and the duo are also booked to play one of Robbie’s Juicy Ibiza parties held in Amnesia this year.

Superstar is a first of a string of successful tracks Robbie is creating at the moment. Hot on it’s Heals with be ‘Float Away’ which is already proving to be a favourite among the few lucky to have early promo, while Music Week has pitched it at number one.

Superstar will be released on Robbie’s own Label Juicy Music from July 17th.
