This article is about Ibiza (Spain)
Situated on the front line of the Marina Botofoch, just a stone throw away from El Divino Night club (Home of Defected and Hed Kandi) and just 6 minutes walk away from Pacha, a club that needs no further mention.
If you want to head into town then you can walk around the bay or if you can’t be bothered. a very cheap (50p) water taxi will take you directly across. From here you can sample the bars and night life that Ibiza old town has to offer.
Base Bar is one of the more famous ones and a good place to catch the processions or buy tickets for your favorite disco. I thoroughly recommend heading up to the castle to see where the people of Ibiza used to and still live. As the narrow streets lead you higher and higher the view over the Island becomes more and more beautiful. Be sure to sample one of the many restaurants that are liberally placed all around between the bars and exclusive funky clothes and designer jewelery shops.
Morning breakfast can be had in the World famous Café Sidney which serves continental style breakfasts based on most European Capitals. (London, Amsterdam, Paris, etc) In fact they do a rather nice steak salad for lunch and the dinner menu is also reasonably priced. Don’t be surprised to see A-list celebrities alongside famous DJ's sitting on the tables next to you. (The Ocean Drive building opposite is often used to accommodate them.) While you are there you can gaze over to the some 50 or so yachts berthed in the Marina, none of which are worth less than 500,000 euros.
The Talamanca beach is about 300 meters from the apartment. Here you will find the bodies of the beautiful the rich and the famous who for one reason or another do not want to be spotted on the Salinas beach. With a hand full of very laid back and reasonably priced beach front cafes and restaurants, this is one of the best places to relax in peace and quite after a hard nights clubbing.
As you can see from the map the Superclubs Amnesia and Privilege are situated to the north With Space and Bora Bora to the West. During Summer 2004 it cost me under 5 euros for a taxi to Space. Of cause as Space is a daytime club you can always take a bus ride, which costs around 50p
The apartment is a duplex (two floors). Upstairs it has Two Bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a double bed and an en suite Bathroom with its own little outside terrace with views to the Marina The second bedroom has two single beds.
The downstairs has a living room with a sofa bed. The Kitchen/Diner is on this floor with sliding doors leading to the Terrace
There is also a second shower room and toilet on this floor
All the rooms on both floors have air conditioning and Total Black Out Blinds (Both very important if you need to sleep whenever you want in Ibiza)
The apartment is equipped with TV, Stereo, washing machine and a video entry phone. Bed linen and bath towels are supplied and the kitchen has a microwave, toaster and kettle along with all necessary cutlery and crockery.
. . . . . You can also use the Terrace to eat breakfast or chill out on. . . .
Downstairs is a pool that is for the exclusive use of the residents. Ample space is available for sunbathing here as well.
Due to its central location, a car is generally not required, however there is ample car parking space outside should you want it. The local Taxi company can usually send cars within 5 minutes, and of cause the water taxi stop is only two minutes away.
In the summer I would like 200 euro per day for the whole apartment. This works out quite cheep if 4 or more of you are sharing. (You can have up to six, but I would say 5 is comfortable) A one of cleaning charge of 60 Euro (around £40) is payable directly to the cleaner before you leave. As this is a residential apartment and not a commercial property, I will require a refundable security deposit against damage. There are no other hidden charges for this place. 200 Euro per day 50 Euro per person Based on 4 people sharing 40 Euro per person Based on 5 people sharing (Recomended) 34 Euro per person Based on 6 people sharing If you have any questions about the apartment or any other aspect of Ibiza, please feel free to contact me. I can also help you with flights or recommend other places to stay.
So if you want to book your holiday I would suggest checking flights at www.easyjet.com or www.ba.com and then contacting me to check availability of the apartment. Easy as that!
