We arrived at Stansted airport at 5-am ready and excited as you can expect, we already had 50 + friends out in Ibiza & we were all ready to meet up & start what for me & Claire is the most exciting weekend of the year, eSPecially for Claire coz she can relax & totally enjoy the experience of the amazing closing parties @ SPace & Dc10 followed by SP @ Bora Bora, anyway back to the airport, we are in the queue with our friends & myself & Claire get to the check in desk , give my passport in & the girl says this passport is damaged sir! & as i always say coz I travel every other week, yes it is coz its old and has done more miles than Stelios ( her Boss ) she says i will have to go see my supervisor , who tells her I cant travel!!! WHAT???? so i leave the queue & go see this person ( i must point out at this stage I was still quite confident as two days before I went to Mallorca & they said it is damaged but please replace asap & you will be ok in Europe ) so this Lady comes out that has the power to destroy me? >
12 Months waiting
3 Months dieting ( i know vain but @ Bora Bora you cant wear much & people diet for weddings & any old fart can get married this is SP @ Bora Bora ?)
And all the organizing, dreaming, etc etc ( you get the picture )

So she looks at my picture , to see if i look like Bin Laden & says sorry your not allowed to travel with this Passport, I give her all the SPill & she wont listen & as you can guess i am destroyed !! I felt physically sick, Claire prevented me looking like a bigger idiot as I was about to offer to clean all the planes IE> BEG!!!

All my Friends & Claire had to board ASAP, so I had to pretend I was upset but this is life & i will live ( just )

So I said my goodbyes & left 50 people I knew in the queue & most horrible of all I said goodbye to Claire ( she was very upset but she was needed in Ibiza ) and I left the airport..............

I must again point out that if you saw my passport the damage is minimal just the corner is coming up & its nowhere near my picture IE > Bin could not of altered it & aint he dead again???

So I leave the airport, get in my car & OH FUCK!!! Claire is on the way to Ibiza with my parking ticket! but the man has a heart & lets me out the barrier! is my luck changing? I get home at 6-am & think???? & think? & yes cry!

At 9-am many of my friends hear about my life fretting situation & my friend Lucy suggest trying to book again with Iberia ?? as there SPanish & more relaxed i might get through there customs people???? so I sit by the computer waiting for there office to open & believe me that was the longest 3 hours of my life! but i get through bang on 9-am & ask about flights to Ibiza & this lovely SPanish woman says ah! you going to the Closing parties! ( i love the SPanish ) and i say yep! & she has a flight at 9-pm via Barcelona, ill take it! so I pay my dosh & I feel a bit better BUT i still have a 12 hour wait & there is no guarantee I will get on the plane? so I tell my friends who are now booked into Hotel opp SPace, that i have a ticket & if i get through I will see them at Midnight!

So i arrive at Heathrow 6 Hours before my flight , because if i get a knock back I was going to try a late flight @ Gatwick ( that would make it 3 Airports & over 1K to get to my baby my friends & the best fun to be had anywhere in the World! ) am i over reacting ? NO not if you know what we know.

I ask when i can check in & they say 3 hours before , so once again here i am Dejaview..... I scan the people at the desk to try find the friendlies face! I approach the man & im acting now ( coz inside i am shitting myself ) He hardly looks at the passport!!!!!! SO IM OFFFFFFFF!!!!!! Weheeeeeeeeey!!!!!! Believe me for the next 2 hours i was helping people with prams! & looking like an American tourist @ Big Ben!!!!! I text my SP family & they reSPond with joy! Claire & me both now know we will have the buzz of our life!

And I cant describe what incredible fun was had over the next 3 days! with our amazing party @ Bora Bora, these pics will tell some of the story & if your an Ibiza head YOU KNOW?????????

Dude you should start a thread with bizzare stories from thew white isle, I'm sure the're would be some hilarious stories along with some downright discgraceful ones.

Trace> cant belive you went through all that mate!!! well done for getting there though, that's one story to tell the grandchildren?! i was going to suprise you on the 14th but unfortunately i have an event booked... i will be popping down before xmas though, have told a load of people i've met in london to come along, will look forward to suprising you one saturday nite ;) . Hope the summer delivered what it promised? ( i know it did, i've read the reviews!) hope all's well? Krispee sends his love!! (he misses you!)
