I'll never forget the first time I ever went to DC10 - Cirillo closed the terrace with back to my roots -and everyone went nuts, and the walls were yellow - yes yellow! Whilst Cirillo was not there to bring back those fond memories for me, the yellow walls are back! Everyone talks about the red walls of DC10, but for me DC10 should have yellow walls - and I'm glad they're back!

Now the red walls were somthing of a talking point, but I reckon that the yellow walls are better. The place has a much more happy feel with them - and I definetely felt like people were more friendly with the yellow walls.... (of course it's the walls that are making people happy......)

DC10 opening is probably more eagerly anticipated than the opening of any other club on the island - and they never fail to disappoint. Matthias Tanzman was playing as we pushed our way through the crowds and onto the terrace. People were spilling out into the car park area and dancing there too - even though there was no sound system there this years opening. Tania Vulcano took over and received a great reception from the crowd. But the star of the night for me had to be Luciano. He got a bit of a reputation last year for playing the same set evey week - but he pulled it out of the bag for the opening. Personally I love the remix of Oh sinner man with Nina Simone.... (and all of you who told me I was nuts yesterday when I was insisting it was oh sinner man - it was - I was right!!!! )

I'm sat here today with a huge smile on my face, in spite of the hangover that is now kicking in! I'd started to lose my passion for DC10 a bit last year when there was a bit of a bad attitude there at times - but I've fallen in love with the place all over again! It's the yellow walls I tell you!! Follow the yellow brick walls and you'll find a magical place filled with the weird and wonderful.... the only thing is I want to click my heels 3 times now and get back there now and do it all over again!

all i remember was MD express late on and johnny D when i walked in for a gypsy's at the start - that was enough to make it an awesome day musically!

The first DC10 opening I've missed in 4 years. I wanted to hear that it was shit! Damn you. The walls were yellow on my first visit too. I'm glad they are yellow again. What time did it open Rach? I heard it wasn't opening til 6pm? Is this right or not? GOD I MISS DC10. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Adam!!! You'll be pleased to hear that Mickey mouse is still popular - quite a few people in Mickey attire there!

It opened at midday - but that was just for the opening party...... Not sure what time it is opening on Monday! Have been looking everywhere to try to find out! Technically they can open from 4.30pm -but a lot of people seem to think that they will be opening from 6 for the rest of the season! Have been keeping an eye out for posters for next week, but haven't seen any yet! Will keep you updated on their opening time though! They have it as midday for the whole season on their Myspace.... but I'm not sure that can be right as clubs aren't allowed to open until 4.30pm..... Who knows! Sorry! We are Circo Loco!

fuck it. I'm there the week before

just got back and had afantastic time! luciano played the closing set on the terrace!!!!!!!!! it was imense!

One of my highlights for last year had to be the re-opening, the gardia came into the terrace and the music stopped, i was not pleased! A massive sit down along with booing soon set them on their way though, and the music cracked back on, brilliant!

I do agree about the attitude sometimes being a bit funny last year, more later in the season when it's rediculously busy, liking the yellow walls being back, nice to have a change!

End of my season full day of Circoloco< Luciano & Tania topping my night (as well as my twister mat) and then off to a full moon party with hippies,forest etc. topped that off...

Can't wait to be back at Dc 9.25 as well as 10!
