Then there’s the producers that have been hot in 2007, the likes of Dirty South, Kurd Maverick and Switch. It really does have something everyone can get involved in.

We caught up with John Dahlback, the man behind Pickadoll records, to talk tunes, DJing and Ibiza ahead of the opening party where he'll be taking to the decks.
How does it feel to join the Club Azuli family as they move to Space? I think it's a great thing! I feel like Space is the best place for Azuli and I'm really looking forward to play there!
Where's your favourite place to DJ in the world? It's very different. Ibiza is really nice because people are so up for it. Another place I really love to play in is in the south of France, in the Thoulousse and Montpellier area. It's really different from Sweden where it's almost no scene at all. But it's growing so hopefully it will get better.
You have your label Pickadoll, how's everything been going? Everything is running pretty great with Pickadoll lately. I mean it has always been good, even from the start, but lately I get the feeling that we have moved to another crowd and we are reaching more and more people with each release. And Pickadoll will release some really awesome releases in the next months and in the end of this year I will return with my second album for Pickadoll which I'm spending a lot of time on. It's not finished yet but I can tell it will be my absolutly best album. I've put my heart and soul in to it and it will be a lot different from the rest of my stuff. It's more beautiful and not so hard as my older albums and releases.
Who do you see as 'the next big thing' in the production world? Oh that is really hard to tell but one guy I really love at the moment is Style Of Eye. He has been doing music for a while now but lately he has done some really crazy stuff and I have signed two releases with him for Pickadoll so I really hope he will get the buzz he deserves. Otherwise, generally I think the genres are really getting closer and closer. I can play some really great trance tracks in my house sets and I really like that. Because it's more one genre now, electronic music. I can't predict the next big thing but I can definatly see some classic house music coming back, updated of course. And i also see that deep house is coming back, which is beautiful!
What are your big tunes for the summer (if they're not top secret!)? I have my "Everywhere" track coming out on Joia this summer which will drive people mad. It's been the essential tune on the Pete Tong show and I'm pretty sure it will blow up! Another track I'm playing like crazy is the Ida Engberg track "Disco Volante" which will be released soon on Pickadoll. It comes in a great package with Sebastien Leger and Hugg & Pepp behind the remixes. It's already causing quite a buzz but it's one of those timeless tracks really.
How many years have you been going to Ibiza? This is actually my second year. I went last year with my girlfriend and her friend for a week. This year I'm staying for a month together with the same girlfriend and our little dog. So I'm looking forward to it!
So just in case you hadn't guessed by now, ‘Club Azuli Ibiza’ has moved to the legendary club Space, Playa D’en Bossa. Friday nights will now have the international glamour it deserves right through until September 21st.
It’s now the third season for Azuli in Ibiza and the last two years of events now feel like they’ve all been leading up to this, Club Azuli Ibiza 2007. Get booking your flights now, if you haven’t already that is, and we'll see you there...
Ibiza comes to London...
If that’s not enough they will also be celebrating the launch of all things Ibiza at the Cross, London on Saturday June 16th.
Coming back to rock the main room and get everyone in the Ibiza mood is Kurd Maverick. After destroying the decks last October we are pleased to welcome him back. He’s joined by Ben Macklin and Azuli boss and Ibiza resident David Piccioni.
In the Lounge festival favourites Crazy P take to the booth. With two DJs and a vocalist, I’m sure this will be the perfect combination to get the party going.
With special Ibiza goodies to give away, this is going to be the perfect Ibiza warm-up. The last party was a sell out so get your tickets early from: www.ticketweb.co.uk / www.clubtickets.com
