Usually I dread the clubs in Ibiza in August. Most nights it just feels like there are far too many sweaty bodies packed onto the over crowded dancefloors! This year has been different though. I dont know if there has been a change in the clubs, or perhaps a change in my attitude! But this year I will be sad to say goodbye to August.

Sunday only cemented this thought in my head. I always love We Love, but this one has to go right up there into my list of best nights I've had all season. We rocked up at 8 and spent the first few hours on the sunset terrace listening to Smokin Jo and Jonathon Ulysses. It's good to see people on the terrace with happy smiling faces again this year! Last year people didn't really seem to have the same spirit many weeks, but the feeling on the terrace was amazing at this.

As the sun set and the inside terrace filled up the French took over for the evening. Dimitri from Paris played an eclectic set to a packed terrace, and had everyone jumping about to the prodigy and singing along!! Laurent Garnier took over later in the evening and kept me on the dancefloor long after I should have gone home to bed!

I've heard a lot of people this year complaining about the fact that space does not open until 4.30 this year, but personally I've really enjoyed the change. The fact that once I'm in I'm in for the duration means that I've heard people play I wouldn't normally hang about to see, and I've been able to truly get into the holiday atmosphere of the nights a lot more.... Let's hope September continues in the same vein!
