These are a few points I have come up with about the Innovation (inno) holiday and how to make it better.

1. There were too many people... inno should not sell as many (if any) tickets on the door. My mate was told he could not come in to the club one night because it was too full. WTF is that all about? He paid his full amount for the week holiday. Inno should know how many people they are letting into the club...

2. The boat party was not as good as last years. The boat was too small and the sound system was crap. There was no food on the boat either

3. The club is a bit small, but as the inno ravers are familiar with the town and club I dont think this needs to change

4. The 4-star upgrade was a waste of time. I didnt even notice why the hotel (royal star) was classed as a 4-star hotel. More like 4-square!

5. INSIST THAT THE MANAGERS PUT ON THE AIR CONDITIONING! we all know that they were just trying to fleece the ravers for more drinks, but its ridiculous. its way too hot in there.

6. Try to put as many ravers in the same hotel as possible. We all know that the hotel staff dont like us because we are too loud and rude, so if we are all together there is less chance that we'll annoy the locals/other holiday makers.

7. Put the DJ's on the balcony at the top (above the door) so that there is more room for people in the club, instead of blocking off the whole stage.

8. Now on to the music... where do i start...
Drop the themed nights!! Just mix up all the djs! or have a few dj's from each clique/label each night. The prob with the themed nights is, if you dont like a particular type of dnb (liquid/tech...) ur gonna have a shit night, and you might not even want to go the rave. However if you mix if up a bit there is something for everyone each night.

9. Bring a better sound system! It was ok this year but could have been a lot better.

10. Rent the club next door (if possible) and put on something a bit different such as: up and coming room, or jungle room to give different people a chance to shine (such as myself. he he) NOT HOUSE/GARAGE/HIP HOP tho. this will bring the wrong crowd. ITS DNB remember!

Despite the fact that some of these points sound negative I had a really good time on the holiday and I am looking forward to next year. If I have anymore suggestions i will edit this post.

Mate i agree with you yeh, my transfers were fucked up, on the way too the hotel the driver did speak english and didnt know where he was going so we had to get a taxi from a random place in llorret de mar, then are hotel was a 2* with a building site outside and no swimming pool, then our transfers were an hour and half late, dont get me wrong the raves were sick and i loved every minute but the organisation from inno wernt all that but it was fucking sick and i will be their next year!!

I had a wicked time but it was no where near as gd as last year,we had problems with our transfers as well it just all seemed a bit unorganised to me!!

I was in that hotel and it was crap.....loads of things wrong with our room but wont go into that! Also I wasnt impressed that me and my mate had to walk to this hotel every night on our own......we are two young girls and there wasnt one night that we managed to walk home without getting grabbed by locals!!!

But I agree......way too many people......I kicked off on the first night they were making people queue and they did actually let me skip the queue every night cos they knew I was right!....inno sold too many tickets!!.....I was just not having it......I wasnt gonna queue for something that I had already payed for?!!


I did have a quality week and met some quality people.......raves were no way near as good as last year though!!!

naa i was staying in this hotel called norai, it was by angelbel though. dont get me wrong i had the time of my life yeh but they just need to sort a few things out before next years event, like they should be checking that there is no building works going on because we were gettin in to bed around 5 every morning and building works start at 8 it was so frustrating pissed me right off, but the events were pure madness so it made up for it :D

i stayed in royal star . i was quite happy with it reli , bt i dun it all seperate, i didnt go with innovation . cnt complain it was dirty or anythin , i had a wicked time it was my 1st yr so didnt no wot to expect , rol on next yr xxxxxx

the que was a utter joke, i qued over an hour sunday, people kept pushing like there are royalty or something, when ever you said anything all you got was abuse. sunday nite some girl had a fight with her mate, i was standing there minding my own business i got hit in the back off her. best thing was when goldie walked up to her and had a go at her. told her to behave herself..........

I agree. Innovation didnt seem as organsied as they did last year. My transfer fucked up along with many other unecessary fuck ups. The vibes were not as good as before either hopefully next year will be a bit more friendly. Still a good hoilday though, roll on INNO IN THE DAM

I didn't go last year but i think that it was just poor organisation on Innovation's part. It's understandable how they can oversell the venue, with a line-up like the one they had it's obvious that shit loads of people are going to want to go! I reckon that they desperately need either a bigger club or another one just to accomadate the numbers. Fuck it, I'll still be there next year!

Firstly dispite a few problems we hope you had a good time.
I'd like to address a few issues raised in this thread:

Ques we don't usually have a problem with quing as ravers are free to walk in & out of the venue as they please. Unfortunatly our security team found a few people carrying offensive weapons (which stupidly are available to buy in almost every gift shop!). For the safetly of the ravers & staff we hope you can appreciate the choice was made to search everyone on entry.
Because it took so long we did extend the weekend nights to 6am instead of the advertised 4.30am.

Oversold I can assure you the event was at capacity, not oversold. We stopped selling tickets 3 weeks prior to the event and it was quite well publicized not to come to Spain if you didn't have a ticket.
Unfortunatly a lot of people did turn up hoping to buy on the door which caused more delays on the door.

Transfers We've heard a lot of complaints regarding the transfers. We used the same company we have used for the previous 3 years. We will be reviewing how the transfers work for next year as we are not happy with this companys faults reflecting badly on Innovation.

I think the reason the raves weren't all that is because of the lack of atmosphere in the club! And that is partly due to the fact that is too hot in there. Turn the bloody A/C on and stop trying to rob us at the bar!

Also the sound system could do with a bit of a beefy injection!

all week i was leaving the rave for drinks and coming back after, was much quicker and cheaper, but made the mistake the 1st day the part time ravers arived, and had to Q for an hour and a half to get back in, so put up with the prices the rest of the weekend!!

Same here, took the absolute piss, especially now there saying that they didn't oversell and kept it going til 5.30-6 at the weekend? If thats the case why shut the doors at 4am when everyone there has already paid for there tickets!

Also 5 euros for a tiny bottle of water which we saw for 50 cent in the supermarket over the road is bang out of order. Daylight robbery!
