I'd just like to say that this year was absolutely off the hook, it was the best week I've ever had and I think that goes for the majority of people who went. But as anyone who went knows, there was a bit of trouble that could have been avoided, and also hassles and hiccups that could quite easily be ironed out for next year, so here are a few things that I think could be done differently, so that I can have an even better time next year..

One: Muggins and fighting!! In my experience, allot of the trouble was caused by our rowdy and rude spannish cousins, and also the looky looky men who patrol the streets of a night. So, when leaving the club in the small hours, DO NOT walk back to your hotel on your own, and if you are going to purchase anything from the looky looky men, DO NOT get your wallet/money out in front of them.

Two: Flight Transfers!! I think that most people didn't have a problem, but myself and quite a few others that i met ahd an absolute nightmare! We were travelling to and from Barcelona airport, and the transfer that htid layed on for us that we paid for, was a joke, we got a late flight as it was, but when we got there, we were all told that we had to wait 2 hours for another flight to arrive before we could go, not because there was no coach, but because there would have been a few empty seats on the coach!! and to top it all off, when we got to Llorett, we were just dropped off outside the club and told "Your hotels around here somewhere" and were left to it! Not Happy!!
To avoid any hassels I would recomend booking your flight as soon as possible, and flying directly into Jerona airport which is only a stones thro from Llorett, and a taxi works out a little bit cheaper than the rates htid were charging.

Three: Drugs!! I would not recomend anyone to try and take their own over, but it seems to me that that is the best way, as checks were pretty lax.. be careful!
I would say to people that they should stay away from the looky looky men, If they don't steal your money, or give you a bunk deal, they will fob u off with talc powder or hayfever tablets! so STAY AWAY!!

If anyone else has any learning experiences for next year I would love to hear them, cos next year could be off the chart that we only just redrawn from this year..and remember..KEEP IT HARDCORE!!

Very true.. I also went without on certain nights, and to be honest, I bounced just as hard, and had just a good a time. but you know ravers.. they like their beans...

No, it totally was, the guy who had the htid staff t-shirt on(no name cos i later found him to be sound) was the one who dropped us off in the middle of Llorett and told us "your hotel is around here somewhere?" that is totally unacceptable to me at any time of the day, never mind at half 12 in the night! myself and the 3 girls i was with had to wonder around the back streets with our luggage for half an hour before we found the hotel!! so I will be doing it differently next year.. but i WILL be back next year. Everything else after that went like clockwork so thanks htid, your amazing!!

This might help - we booked transfers with resorthoppa on the wa yout, paid £55 and got a taxi from barcelona to lloret de mar, and the driver had to wait around 3 hours cus our flight was delayed but he didn't charge us extra. booked this online, about 10 days before we went.

Wish i'd booked it back aswell tho cus the HTID transfer was late, packed, smelly, and me and my mates got split up cus there wern't any seats together (not important I guess but still would havebeen nice to sit together lol).

HTID are saying that the transfer's were organised by a team or people or company in spain - this was on the htid forum. So they said they will have to get in contact with them regarding any issues or complaints.

I'm not bothering though cus i'm more pissed at BMI baby cus we had delays both ways lol. HTID did a wicked job and no one can stop me going next year!!! =o)

hmm i dont agree totally with the transfers there as i was supposed to wait 2 hours at the airport which woukd of been 5 for my mate coz she was going from luton to girona but they let me on to check in hotel on my own but we had to wait an hour to get picked up on the way bak to go to the airport then she wasnt going to let me on coz my name wasnt on there even though i had my form but my mate said i was in his group so lucky for me i got on! i flew with ryan air not bad but the only shit thing was the fact ur suit case could only weigh 15kg and that not alot mine atually weighed less on the way home which was strange and i had to cue twice because i wanted to put the stereo in my suitcase appparently its there policy but spanish people just dont like us english ones! dammit! why not! i had an amazing time and defently goin next year this time ill go vip and try not to lock myself out my room and smashing my balcony window instead of going downstairs to ask for a spare key god knows were my head was at! anyway see you all next year cant wait excited already! x

oh and one more thing roll on htid summer gathering at air in birmingham 4th august ill be celebrating my 22nd whoop gettin old now! lol whos going to that? will be good to see sum of the sunny spain faces agen!

lol alot of people did that in our hotel and there was alot of fights on monday morning! just remember to ask for them bak and just say ur renting a motorbike or summit there give it bak!

LOL what hotel did u stay in chick? What a nutter haha! We handed our key in to reception only to come back and find someone asleep in the bed! So we took it out with us and managed not to lose it. Also we didn't have to hand out passports in at reception but kept them in a safe which was defo worth it.

there was one hotel that my friends stayed in where they took your passports, and put them in little pidgeon holes behind the counter with the room keys, now i know that most hotels do this, but this hotel everytime i was in there only had one guy working and the pidgeon holes were well within reach if you leaned over the counter..needless to say a few went missing! I heard similar stories from some of my other friends in others hotels!..
The hotel I stayed in(Hotel Astoria) didn't even ask for our passports, nor a deposit which we were expecting to pay, but security was tight in the nights and i don't think i saw or heard any trouble..Good hotel.

we stayed in the gran casino royal they didnt even have pidgeon holes just a few trays other side of counter...only good thing wiv our hotel wus they neva checked 2 see if ya had an all inclusive card at the bar haha free beer as much as you wntd lol

lol good guess shitty don juan the cunts try to charge me a second time for the window also the nite i didnt stay in my room my roommate said the cleaners came round our rooms lookin in draws n stuff for drugs and damaged property if that was me in the room i would of kicked off big time and yer the passports were in reach lol thats why i took mine out! i got shouted at twice by the reception man for not having my card coz my mate had it and ran off sumwere he was like "doesnt look like your really bothered about it why should i give u the key" ooo he was lucky my fist didnt meet his face the fat git

well in our hotel i got kicked out on the first day becaz i was gettin pissed of wiv the man he cudnt hardly speak n e english so had to get one of the htid staff to get us back into our hotel, my frends were light weights and went in early but dint leave the key in reception so i was knockin on the door they wouldnt get up so had to stay out lol not that am complaining lol and wen i tried gettin the key they told me i werent even stayin in the room that i was in and they would tell me i needed some card to get the key but on the last fuckin day they decided that u dnt need a card n they jus gev me the key dnt get it

Lol thats sounds what happened to people in Florida Park hotel - one chap was locked in his room and decided to jump from the balcony to a van roof! Lol i think that was the first time he got banned from the hotel. Snuck back in though.
