The Thailand Tour 2005/6
The Tour Diary We started the tour on the island of Koh Samui, which is the busiest & most commercial island in Thailand going on to Koh-Phangan then on to Bangkok for the Finale. Take a minute so you can get in the mood to book up next year. ________________________________________________ SUB CLUB – Koh Samui Tuesday 27th December 2005 Capacity 1,000 9pm – 6am The Tour commenced at the brand new state of the art Sub Club which has its own swimming pool and vast main room. The night was set to be a big one and didn’t disappoint.

This bar hosts two of Thailand’s biggest live screens. The club was fully decorated with our production and we started the party off with a bang. Unfortunately due to some political issues the club was experiencing the club had to close early at 2am. It was decided that we wasn’t ready for bed just yet and contacted the SUB CLUB and was told we could take over the club on our arrival. We rounded up all the DJ’s and told them “The night must go on!” We took our crowd from solo of over 500 to the SUB, this event had just saved the day!

This location is famous for the vast crowds that descend upon the shores as there will be 40,000 revelers on the beach.
We knew this party would be special but just how surreal the whole experience was in unexplainable. The Crowds were so far and thick you couldn’t actually see the beach. It had to been seen to be believed. Do have a look at the photos, although they don’t capture the moment they certainly show us where we should be booking for next New Year. The drinks are cheap the music sounded fantastic and the culture is one of a kind.
PICTURE LINK ________________________________________________ The Paradise Waterfall Party *NEW EVENT* - Koh Phangan Capacity 2,000 9pm – 11am Three days later still in Koh Phangan we was meant to be hosting the notorious Saturn club on Ban Tai Beach (this venue hosts the infamous Black Moon Parties which regularly attract over 1000 clubbers). Unfortunately we were contacted on the Monday and were told the Saturn Club had in house problems which meant the party could not go ahead as scheduled. We decided an alternative was needed and fast.
The proposed change of schedule posed a lot of problems because the flyers had been distributed all over Thailand and to change the event we may be lining ourselves up for an awkward night, But no.. We had new flyers printed and banners made up that covered all of the major roads and the new venue were to be a spectacular place called the Paradise Waterfall. The Paradise Waterfall was in the middle of the Jungle and had various areas to the club and as the name would suggest the highlight is a waterfall which everybody is allowed to swim in if they fancied it. We now just had to hope that everyone had seen the signs and banners and knew about the change of plan.
The night was one of the busiest the club has had and everyone was taken back by the placement of the party. The most common things said to us on this night were “You would never dream of clubbing in the Jungle next to a waterfall” or “You’d never be able to experience this at home”.
What a surreal Clubbing experience

Then its back to Koh Samui’s Bo-Phut Beach and the Gecko for the tours penultimate party, where in association with Gecko the tour will provide regular visitors to geckos Sunday club with their most exciting night on the first Sunday on 2006.
This night was going to be difficult as the access roads to the Gecko Bar had been closed so everybody had to find their way via the beach. Still the night went on and a right good old knees up.
We were joined by some very important Music Industry professionals such as Brandon Block, Danny Ramplin, Jo Mills, Lisa Loud and Dusted resident Oliver Lang.
It seemed this night was just about having a good old laugh and that was definitely the case. There were some unforgettable happenings… ________________________________________________
